Buena Noche, hermano por favor podría ayudarme a conectar la cabrería al cuerpo de válvulas F4EAT, no se como posicionar el ramal. El carro es una Kia Caren automática, motor 1,8, a gasolina, 4 puertas
Good evening, brother, could you please help me connect the cable to the F4EAT valve body, I don't know how to position the branch. The car is a Kia Caren automatic, 1.8 engine, gasoline, 4 doors.
Hey! I found this to be very insightful as far as the transmission in my '98 Escort Sport as I am going through a heck of a time with it. The original transmission failed at 89k from what I believe was a torque converter failure. I got another transmission for it out of a 2002 Escort that I just got installed and I am having issues with that one now too. That one, I had movement when the transmission was cold, but nothing when warmed up. The fluid level was low, so I topped it off and I am getting the same thing. No engagement when warm, but seems to work sort of when cold. Do you have any idea what could cause this? When the trans was out, I drained the torque converter on the new one and refilled it before installation and am curious if this might have caused an issue if it didn't get filled all the way up like I suspect. I am lost as far as this is concerned because my knowledge of auto transmissions is sort of limited. But I find it hard to believe I had two torque converter failures between the two transmissions. The original trans had dark fluid when I started doing drain and refills after it kicked hard between first and second gear, then wouldn't engage until revved up to around 1500 rpm and then finally had no engagement at all. This was over a span of about two weeks. This new trans I literally just got up and running today and it worked at first, but then had no engagement when warmed up. Saw the fluid level was low and filled up, still nothing. Left it sitting for a few hours. Then, when I was going to push it to a different spot, I thought I would just try it and it had engagement again until the trans got warm. Then, nothing again.
@@tundrajt if the fluid is dark, then that means the transmission was not serviced. Which causes the fluid to breakdown. Which also causes the transmission to overheat. Once the transmission overheats, it hurts the clutch packs and causes them to slip when they are applied. That’s why when it gets warm it won’t move.
@@eottracingteam8274Weird. The new transmission never had dark fluid. It was a bit dull red in color, but definitely serviceable. I had planned on changing out the fluid and filter once I got it going and tested, but I didn’t even make the test drive before it had issues. I am hoping it is something where the low fluid caused some kind of pressure switch to disengage until the transmission cooled. I have never heard of that, but it is just weird how it seems to hook up just fine once cold, but then absolutely nothing after about 5 minutes of running.
@@tundrajt once the clutches get over heated, they will continue to slip. Which will cause more heat to spread through out the transmission. You’re going to have to pull it down and rebuild it.
@@eottracingteam8274Okay. I am going to try selling the car for parts and if it doesn’t go, I will plan on tearing apart the original transmission and begin rebuilding it. The car only has 89k on it and still runs awesome, but I am just burnt out of working on it. It was down for 7 months while I was trying to swap out the transmission and dealing with personal issues and I finally got it back together Monday and got it working, but it was very poor in driving until the new transmission just failed completely. We’ll see what happens from here!
@@tundrajt no need to sell it for parts behind it needing a transmission rebuild. If that’s the case then sell it to someone who is going to be willing to put the work in it to get it going. I have been messing with this platform for over 20 years I have had the transmission out of slushbox. About 10 times to get it right, when you give up on projects you never learn anything that way. Selling it for parts would be the easy way out. Don’t give up. Keep pushing forward to get the project completed.
i'd like to see that valve body harness. making a tranny swap in a mazda with a kia tranny. same f4eat but the clip is different. 7 prongs on both sides
