Your channel has played a massive role in sucking me into the sim racing world. I started on a g923, and probably would have lost interest quickly if it hadn't been for your ACC track and setup guides. Since that point I've been hooked, and now with a DD wheel I'm fully invested.
Keep producing this high quality and informative content. I have a feeling your channel is going to get bigger and bigger over these coming months. Top quality 👌

Practice alternative lines. I like to practice driving side by side vs the AI in ACC thru tonight corners. Seeing what's possible and what's not. Surprisingly the AI does a good job and seems to be programed for race basics. What I mean is, if you are to far back and the AI has the position they will take the corner and squeeze you out. But if you have proper position they will (depending on the agressive setting) give you room and stay side by side. If the agressive setting is to low they back out. It's great practice and very satisfying when you're able to complete the corners side by side

What do you find is a good aggressive setting? I'm new to ACC and am not sure about the AI settings yet.

@@papaya4432 depending on the track. I set mine to 97-100 skill and then Aggression 85-88. I found that gives you the most realistic racing experience.
Now you'll need to find the skill level that puts up lap times that fit where your at.
My only beef is the Audi Evo 2 is always the fastest car. I'd like to see it mixed up more.

@6:08 +1 on alternate breaking markers. When close to other cars your ideal marker may be obscured.
To do this I watch a replay of a practice lap & pause it when I get to my regular breaking marker. Then I have plenty of time to look carefully all around to find the best secondary markers for that corner. This is especially helpful on tracks where there aren’t ideal breaking distance boards or the scenery is very bland (few or no trees, buildings, etc).

    Great video guys 👍,
Gamer Muscle made a point on the types of "i Racing" driver's, and tho I'm only Console player, it's still a valid principal.
Many times on GT Sport you would get driver's who could only stick to the racing line, unable to adjust.
I have started to play ACC on PS5 and I make it a point to aim for maximum of my potential on lap time and also test out car handling, in different sections of the track against A.I.
So I can get a feel for how car handles in different situations.
Unfortunately you will always get some drivers who can only drive the racing line.

Nice video! Very useful for a super newb like me. Can you talk about dive bombs in a future video, please. There seems to be a lot of controversy about what actually constitutes a dive bomb and what position in a corner the over taking car needs to be in to overtake safely and legally. It's quite obvious people think that they can just steamroll into a corner as the attacking car, and as long as their nose is a little into the corner, the defending car has to give up the position. I'd love a really detailed break down of this. That would be super helpful. Thanks!

iRacing’s C Class NASCAR truck drivers need to watch this video; the race craft is ABYSMAL in that series.
