That garden party could’ve been straight out of an “Anne of Green Gables” book. So beautiful, and a memory I’m sure you and your friends will treasure for years to come.
Thank you for this message about vegan Ism .. last fall while under tremendous family trauma I ate non vegan for 2 months . I hated myself and considered giving up for good . Jan 1 I started over and forgave myself. I was judged pretty harshly by other vegans. We must give people grace .. being vegan is not easy .. it is possible for anyone but it is not easy .. it can be for some but most people find it difficult . I am very imperfect at it but I pick myself up and keep trying . I am now 90% .. I have seafood on rare occasion . But I know I am going to get to 💯 one day . Lovely video Hannah 💕
Thank you for sharing your story. I’m sorry - it sounds like you’ve been through a lot. There are no perfect vegans. I myself have been vegan 6+ years and still will accidentally purchase non-vegan items from time to time, and it absolutely is easier for some than for others. It’s hard to be vegan in a world which doesn’t support veganism, and in many cases actively discourages people from being vegan. I think it’s amazing that you were willing to try again.
How did you find a group of vegan friends like this? I’d loooove to have this !!
none of these friends are vegan :) they're just very sweet and inclusive and supportive
love from Manipur 🙏🙏🙏
Great message Hannah thank you! I see a big trend(?) here where I live of people going from vegan/veg to ancestral and high meat diet. I totally advocate for anyone doing what they need for their health but I agree - there is a a vegan solution! When you're for the animals, there's always a way.
Going through the McDougall Immersion program has really helped me to double down on my connection and commitment to staying vegan in everything I do. I am so encouraged by you, Hannah!
Eating my ribey steak while watching this lol ... but seriously, I am. I used to be vegan. It was great for like a year, then I got really sick, mentally foggy, and gained so much weight, and i was always hungry. I ate all the right things. Like Hannah. Then I switched to eating LOTS of meant, some veggies and I've lost almost all the weight, and am much healthier now. I'm not saying eating plants' food is bad for everyone. But it just doesn't work for some like me. Plus it's was to expensive. I'm feeling better then I have in years.
Yes!!!!!
You must’ve had other bad lifestyle habits.
Either way, not sure why you’re watching this video then haha. You must know being vegan is the right thing :) your conscience is getting to you, understandably.
@X-de4io no, I don't think it's wrong to eat meat. I did, but that was just a bad perspective. People have eaten meat since the fall of Adam. God said it was good. I realized I made an idol of animals and their feelings. It was wrong. Of course, i believe we should treat them right. Abuse is not right.
Animals have no souls. They are here for us humans. Plain and simple. But we also have a duty to treat them right. Killing them to eat them is not wrong. Just like the native Americans, they treated the animals with respect and then ate them. It's how they survived. It's nutrients for our bodies. Animals do it, too. Are they in the wrong then?
I like watching some of Hannah's videos sometimes. I do get some inspiration with some of the things she does. :).
I’m not vegan either but am genuinely so confused when people say how “expensive” plant foods are. In my experience they’re all soo much cheaper than ribeye steak 😂. We buy tofu and beans just to save money when we can’t afford beef
@@ThePeaceofWildThings Well said! 👏
Thank you for advocating for the animals!!! I’ve been vegan for 8 years and I will be for life. It has been incredibly hard seeing so many people slam “veganism” for their problems and especially hard to find others to connect with in this on a ethical level. When I first went vegan my small town literally had potluck where vegans and nonvegans would come together to share themed vegan foods and it was incredible! So many connections with people who seemed to really get me! This was a strong community until around 2022 and now out of all of our friends, there is only one couple that we know in our town who are still vegan 😳 I have a lot of hope for the future and I truly do think that this beautiful lifestyle will keep growing and spreading but I want to do more to encourage it! Any advice?
I own a nut butter company called The Buttered Nut, and we use Azure market as one of our suppliers! They have such great quality products! So excited to see them in the video!
is ellen gradually stepping away from youtube so hannah can step
up?
What a beautiful and relaxing video. I didn't plan to stay, but I couldn't help myself. Love Azure Standard btw.
Thanks for the inspiration, Hannah! Loved that pasta dish.

Hello! I am not coming at you just trying to point something out. We as a community have become so against nature and what it provides for us. But let me start with oats deplete and pull out all the nutrients and minerals from your body.
My sister is vegan and I am a carnivore diet with minimal carbs and sugar, basically what our ancestors ate for hundreds and hundreds of years. Best I’ve ever felt. HOWEVER, I do only support LOCAL, GRASS FED BEEF, local pasture raised eggs, local grass fed butter, etc. All sourced from nature itself. It’s the circle of life, food chain. I do not support the mass production of animal torture. And that’s where people are mistaken, you can still eat meat and not support the torture of animals. They live a beautiful life grazing on healthy land. At the end of the day I point it out to my sister because she loves her carbs and starches. Your body takes those and breaks them down into sugars. Your body takes no nutrition or minerals from it, it is just simply a filler.
I am 74 yrs. old and follow a similar diet , like you do. I am very healthy and active and never get sick; maybe a slight cold once a year. Thank you for sharing your point of view.
Yes, I do see that many vegans tend to use a lot of carbs and small amount vegi, which really isn't healthy. I'm an old fashioned vegetarian, only because this is what my body likes at 48, I have eggs , dairy and occasionally fish. But I'm just a lover of vegetables and whole foods.❤
Have you ever boiled green/yellow firm plantains they are great with pumpkin or squash stew it soaks up garlic tumeric pepper onions flavor and all the spices so yum better than potatoes .When plantains are mushy dark sweet treat time check out plantains and nutritions different in the green and real ripe ones!
Silent on a genocide as a mother is antithetical to your so called compassionate lifestyle . I'm so beyond disappointed by you and Ellen during this unprecedented evil. They're killing babies. How do you sleep at night???
Is this supposed to make any sense?
@@susandean8584 if you are paying attention and have ANY sense of right and wrong it makes perfect sense. the only people it doesn’t make sense to are sociopaths.
