I have one of these I can help adjusting the oil ratio. It’s definitely off.
Also take the muffler silencer /spark arrestor out and clean it well. They get clogged.
I noticed you pulled out the screw driver. Never turn a carb screw more than a quarter of a turn without testing riding it each time.
Carbs generally leak from bad fuel lines or the float needle not seating correctly.

I had a green and white one. My Dad paid $400.00 bucks for it in 73. In 77 I was 15 and rode it on the street legally on my learner's permit. I gave the bike to a friend in 1989. Would love to find another one.

Nice find. I have one in a mint condition.
Same problem with the leaking petcock, easy fix.

That's awesome, I love it and wish someone didn't chrome all the original pieces. Thanks for the info, I'll have to look at it, I haven't had a chance yet to fix it.

You said that the lights don't blink? My 1971 Yamaha G6SB (Same bike, but mine is in candy apple green instead of blue) turn signals won't work if they are aren't grounded, they won't blink. I found this out when I had to take my tank out to load it with sea foam to get the sticky varnish off the inside of the tank. While the tank, seat and taillights were off, we threw a new 6v battery into it and we though the battery wasn't very charged. Jump a 12v onto and we come to find out that turn signals' ground wires have to be, well, grounded for it to work. I'd check that because, while I didn't have to mess with the wiring on my G6SB, I saw while putting the battery in, that this thing has its wires tucked into the stamped frame
