Closets are one of the biggest places that clutter can accumulate. Here are my top 5 tips for creating and keeping a wardrobe that is simple and free ✨
Our society will be better served not to follow anything a celebrity is doing. Most of us who follow a low impact on the environment life have nothing in common with that consume consume consume lifestyle. I used to watch the Oscar’s, Grammys in my 20’s, and the more I follow my own path, that programming is repulsive. The high glam, the high fashion, the what are the celebrities up to. Honestly who cares! There are very few worth giving any energy to.
I feel the same about keeping up with the ____ fill in the blank. That is them. I am me and I am not advertising for brands. I am showing who I am, my culture, my experiences at that has nothing to do with the masses.
I think a lot about your philosophy in minimalism about the more things in our lives being multipurpose will serve simplicity. I love items that serve more than one purpose.
Dresses are my go to👗 I don't have to worry about matching anything with a dress as it's a complete outfit in itself. I'm the opposite to yourself though where I love my clothes to be baggy as I can't bear anything tight around my joints like leggings. It's why I also can't wear jeans, they feel weird when I'm sitting! I'm also fussy when it comes to materials and labels too, comfort is king 👑 😂
Thank you! This is such a sustainable and no nonsense approach to clothes. And at the same so freeing to only focus on „what do I really like?“ not what does marketing tell me who I should be
Thanks for the tips and inspiration! I just did a big wardrobe declutter and took 2 big bags of clothes I wasn't wearing to the charity shop. My wardrobe feels alot less cluttered now and its easier to see and find everything. I'm also trying to commit to not buying anything new for awhile since I don't really need more.
The beginning of your video crack me right up. My girlfriend was looking at a dress on temu last night that was only $2.50 with some kind of special deal. I asked her who she thought was making it for that price and reminded her that it was probably some 8 year old child in a back room in China, with bleeding fingers getting paid $5 a month so that we can look good... She said that where her clothes came from was something she had never really thought about before. I think that most of us don't think about the origins of our garments. Choosing a minimal and well curated wardrobe that focuses on ethical origins of our fashion, is something that can allow us to not only look good, but to feel good as well.
Hahaa the beginning with the sponsorship, I can't 😂😂🤣 Finally steps that actually lead to having a minimal wardrobe! You really fall into the trap of buying all the things that are so called staples, only to fill your closet even more. I'll definitely go over my closet with your video! PS: My favorite documentary on the topic fast fashion is "The True Cost", it really reminds you how terrible this industry is for our world and the poorly paid workers 🌍💚
Hehe my sponsors are very kind and hard working 🤣Ah I haven’t seen that one I’ll have to check it out. And yes you can definitely overdo it on the bulking of staples. 🩷
I absolutely LOVE your channel! You are so real and honest and funny and unapologetically yourself...just awesome! I watch a lot of minimalism channels but I INSTANTLY connected with yours. You embody how I view minimalism and how I aspire to live. I love that your videos are raw and honest...and minimal...no lighting, overlaid scenes, music, etc...just you. Thank you so much for sharing yourself and your minimalism journey. (Extra thanks for inspiring me to give fewer f***s about how other people view my lifestyle!)
Love this video!! It’s so funny that when I turned 40 a lightbulb went off like why do I care what people think of what I wear? And it was so liberating to then declutter all the crap!!
One thing that I am going to try with my existing wardrobe.. I think my style is black jeans and dark/black tank tops. Going through my tanks now and I realise I have a few basic styles that I like but no longer jam with the color. So I am going to have a go at dying them black! As some of my tanks are so old that they will probably need replacing soon, but instead of replacing I can just switch out with some of my newly dark dyed tops.
I just want to hank you because you inspired me into decluttering this year. I still have a very long way to go and sometimes I fell out of the wagon and buy something and then i returned it. I docent feel good anymore to buy anything at all . The only thing I need is just food nothing else. Please keep posting videos on here because you keep me on track. someday I get where you are and it is gonna be beautiful and freeing. Blesses to you
That is wonderful you have started your journey to simplification. And if you stumble don’t worry- you are learning and no one is perfect. I still make mistakes too! Just now I get a “high” when I return the mistake lol 😂 Sending light ✨
I've watched so many "minimalist tips" videos and yours is by far one of my favorites. So simply put and relatable. I'm glad I'm not the only one who loves black! It's definitely my Superwoman color of choice 🐈⬛✨♏. Especially loved your tip on having each piece in the wardrobe compliment each other. I can already think of some pieces that I can weed out because they are odd ball shades. Happy to have discovered you & your account 🫶🏼
I am an ultra minimalist in everything, absolutely everything except clothes. But… I am getting there. This Alicia, is super helpful. I’m making an effort to get rid of one thing a day, at least. I have the least amount I’ve ever had, but will continue to forge ahead. My aim is that everything I own fits into my Jimny, almost there 🤣
"One team, one dream" 🤣 Like Wednesday Adams, I have worn mostly all black clothing since childhood, a few decades before minimalism more broadly expanded beyond art and design. . . ha ha ha! If ever I do add some color, it's the same jewel tones. You have a gift for encouraging viewers to look for REAL treasure within. If self-aware, artistic, philosophical minimalism had a unicorn 🦄she would be YOU!🤗
Thank you for this wonderful reflection- I love unicorns 😄💖 And Wednesday is awesome- all black will never go out of style. Black cats are my spirit animal so I love to dress like them 🐈⬛🖤
I've had a minimal wardrobe for a few years (little bigger than yours, but that's mostly due to very different seasons and a big difference between working clothes and home life clothes, with two young kids at home) but I've now come to a place where I still want to get rid of some pieces, and I long for even fewer options. So I try to practice decluttering one thing and not trying to replace it, but instead wait and see what else I choose to wear when the situation comes up, where I earlier would have chosen that piece. It's so easy to think that you have to replace an item before you declutter when you have very few items to begin with. Thanks for another great video!
My sil explained trends to me in this way and it changed how I shop for clothes- stores can’t carry everything so they carry what is on trend. If something that is your style or color is on trend that means it is time to shop because it is easy to find and you will have lots of choices. If it’s not on trend it is a good time to wait. I usually wear bell bottom jeans, bell bottom slacks, or bell bottom corduroys on bottom and warm colored red, orange, green or purple v neck tshirts on top. When I see a video of the trends I can tell right away if it is time to shop or time to wait. For example recently warm purple was trending, that doesn’t happen very often at all so I knew when I went shopping I was looking for a warm purple v neck t shirt. It helped me figure out my style and stop chasing trends.
Another refreshing video as always! 💕 I love a dark-wash skinny jean or black yoga pant as my go to look. The current jean trend is for a wider leg. I'm sticking with my trademark skinny jeans. 💚
Love your videos, you are so down-to-earth and funny, the introduction made me literally laugh out loud, I always feel like if I wear the same clothes over and over that people will notice and think I have no clothes, no idea if that makes any sense xxx
So there was this woman that did an experiment where she wore the same dress everyday and NO ONE NOTICED. If anyone does care, then they have a pretty boring life if it’s their priority to judge someone’s outfit choices. So wear as little as you like! Glad you enjoyed 🩷
@@Exploravore thank you, I saw that experiment and it was so inspiring, I will try it and see what happens, I don’t have tons of clothes to be honest and I always purchase from sustainable brands and I’ve even started with secondhand. 🩷
Excellent video as always ❤️❤️ I think there is also connection between our wardrobe satisfaction and our body image satisfaction. We often seek new clothes to improve the way we look but good body looks good in anything. It is also easier to be minimalistic when you do not try to hide yourself under layers of clothing all the time. I always try to be realistic 😉😂😂.
Love the intro 😂😂 I have a pretty small wardrobe but I would love to minimize it more, I really struggle to find exactly what works for me, even though after some years I got more of an idea, sometimes I still buy for a fantasy self and those clothes end up not being really worn. Nice tips Alicia! I really love to think of a uniform like a character 🥰
Still discovering what is my style. I do like simple classic pieces that can be combined seamlessly and must be comfortable that I feel my best in. You ‘ve done a great job with your choices as it fits you perfectly!! Everything you show looks wonderful on you.
I love the “ Super Hero uniform “quote! And All of your tips! I was very minimalist living in Maui but then moved here to SD and realized that I need triple the wardrobe because is COLD!!! 🥶not enjoying one bit of it. But oh well I have to find my “uniforms” here too. 😅
Hahah you can always tell an SD local from a tourist because we are the ones wearing winter coats in May 😅😅😅 Keep striving for those uniforms- they will present themselves ;)
It is very interesting how you talk with your eyes. I have dramaticlly downsized my clothes but I have several styles that I enjoy wearing, several uniforms.
❤ Again a fabulous video 😊 thank you for the amazing advice. I feel like most of these I knew but I need someone to confirm that it is OK to have a minimal wardrobe 😂 I have a few items I keep for business events/funerals. Guess how many years it has been since I last touched those items.
So good! I have always loved clothes, but as I've gotten older, I've gotten to the place where my goal is to put something on, like it, feel good in it, and never think about it for the rest of the day. Quickest way to curate a wardrobe you love. I've finally gotten to this point, but it took me a while. Never going back to a full closet of stuff because it looks pretty on the hanger and as a collection but never gets worn because of the lack of comfort.
Agree with everything here! Thank you for your excellent content. The fast fashion industry is one of the worst industries on the planet. From beginning to end, it pollutes the environment from the making of the cheap plastic stuff to it's inevitable disposable in the landfill. I have read that there is more cheap clothing trash than any other type of trash. Then there's the human toll, like you stated, that is mostly slave and/or child labor. The cost of women's self esteem and the financial drain of keeping up on trends and being "attractive" and "fashionable" at all costs. Eff that.
Hi Alicia, another great video 😊 thank you. I have a very minimal wardrobe too, i love dresses, of mid length (above ankle) i live in Scotland, so shorts dresses are a no go! My wardrobe consists of 4 dresses one of them is a tailored, fitted black dress, which i wear for interviews and funerals. 2 pairs of leggings 2 t shirt tops Denim jacket for summer Winter coat Bathing suit (im a swimmer too) Undies Pair of white trainers ( they go with eveyhting!) Boots for winter Black heals And sandals. And thats it. Ive had the same outfits for a while now. I dont waste any time choosing and planning outfits. I look after my clothing so dont have to change out pieces very often. Oh yeh i have a one handbag that ive owned for about 10 years.😁 Im creating a simple and sustainable life for myself also. In my 20's and early 30's i was a such a stressy person with multiples of things of no value that brought nothing but chaos to my life. In my late 30''s i had a complete mindset shift, this allowed me to see what 'really' was important in my life. And ive never looked back. I almost feel like a new person. I know who i am now and ive credited this to my minimalist lifestyle. ❤ Do you have plans for your birthday? How would you like to start and embrace this next era of your life? I spent my 40th birthday climbing Dunns river fall in Jamaica. It was beautiful and so much fun! I day of laughter and water plunging!😂
Your wardrobe sounds perfect! And yes I have some plans- I’ll be sharing in an upcoming video. My biggest intention for this next phase is to really get to know on a deeper level the divine feminine energy within me and come into my full power within that. Also continue deeper connection to Nature. PS I can’t wait to visit your beautiful country 💜
Sounds perfect Alicia 💜 You have such a beautiful soul. I'm throughly enjoying watching all of your videos. I hope you get the opportunity to visit our wild beaches, sparkling lochs and romantic castles! ✨️ I reckon you will fall in love with Scotland! We have some fine looking men too! 😉 😂
Alicia, great tips. My wardrobe is down to about 20 pieces, my base color is dark blue, and i only have a couple of henley sweater shirts and a couple of summer short sleeve shirts. I have a couple of items that are burgundy, and a couple that are gray and that's it. I can pull any shirt or any pair of trousers out and they would go together. They would also look good in any semi formal situation. My problem is since my weight has fluctuated over the years I always keep pieces that don't fit right now but I hope will fit when I lose some weight. But now I realize I just need to get rid of them because if I do lose the weight there will always be clothes available for that size.. I hope your day is going well and that your move will go well.
Actually, my ideal wardrobe would be to wear simple robes like the Buddhist monks and have only 2 pair, one to wear and one as backup while washing and drying the other. I am not there yet.
White is not my jam either. It doesn’t look good on me and it’s an impractical color for me with stains and so forth. I love a neutral pallet with a few pieces with colors. Easy to mix and match too. ❤️
I need you to make a video about how to get your wardrobe to that. I have 4 seasons here in Canada, plus i work at « tj max » so i have very tooooooo many clothes . Clothes are the things I own the Most. I have fatigue and no energy because of this.
I have a video titled “how I found my authentic style as an extreme minimalist” that goes over how I found my style which helps me keep my wardrobe tiny. I understand cold weather though- I grew up in Edmonton 😅❄️☃️ With creativity and using versatile pieces and layering you can still have less. As for the shopping, I have a video titled “how I cured my addiction to shopping to become an ultra minimalist” if you want to check that out 🌼💜
Helpful video many thanks! Trying to figure out my colours (I love white but know will be weary of wearing it as know will spill food on them lol or get it dirty somehow) so a nope for me on white :) x
I have to admit to being a big fail in this area 🤪 I have made great progress in cutting back my wardrobe from earlier days of excess but still have too many. I’ve tried Project 333, the 37 item wardrobe, the 40 piece wardrobe, the 50 item all year round wardrobe etc etc! I keep around 28 items hanging up with the rest in a couple of boxes which I ‘shop’ regularly. That seems to work for me. My biggest issue is jackets and coats. I seem to need loads of options according to the occasion (smart, casual, hiking in the hills) and the weather (cold, wet, warm, warm but wet, bitterly cold etc). The combinations are endless. Plus, when you’ve invested good money in a coat, it’s hard to let it go - sigh!
My mother's neighbor is Courtney Carver's mother-in-law. I had tea with her when she was visiting her one time and she is such a fascinating lady. I think I accidentally insulted her though when I told her that I only had 40 items of clothing for all four seasons and had been doing it for years and probably should have wrote a book about it. I guess decorum is not one of my natural gifts😅
That’s so funny! Yes, if only. I guess some people just have the knack of putting out an idea that captures the zeitgeist of the time and seeing it flourish. Now I could have only 40 items in my closet, if only I knew WHICH 40 items to keep! 🤣
Yes it definitely is harder when you live somewhere with more variety in seasons. Keep looking for those versatile pieces that can do more than one job :)
Hmm you got me thinking about my Supero Hero uniform.:-) Question: Do you wear your teal blouse every time you work as a bartender? How often do you do laundry? My work can be pretty messy and so I like to get fresh clothes everyday I work but that means more clothes than I'd like to have:-)
So we recently got a uniform change at work to a mandatory (and ugly lol) blouse. I only have one and I’ll wear it 5 days straight- it’s going to get dirty no matter what so I don’t care haha. I do one load of laundry per week this is enough :)
This reminds me how I have pieces in my wardrobe I am not wearing, even when it's wash day and more or less the right season/temp for it. Which is mad, because my entire 4 season wardrobe [shoes, coats, accessories and sleepwear etc] is 50 pieces. Currently, I feel best in a crew neck jumper, crew neck t-shirt, a waist height jacket and flare leggings with whatever shoe to match.
I have a random question please! What's better, almond or peanut butter? I was stuck in the shop deciding on both and thought "what would Exploavore do" hahaha
Leggings + short dress or longer fitted sweater (black or jewel tone) is my 'superhero outfit'. Love that term :) Never stray from it anymore. I like so many styles, but they are not for me. It gives a lot of calm in my closet and my head to stick to one style. These pinterest-templates of what a minimal wardrobe should look like are SO boring! 😆 Or worse, lists with '20 items every 40 yo woman should own'. No! 😄 I think it is nice to see my personal style has not evolved one little bit the last decades, and I never have to explain that 'that was the trend back then'. Your video is entertaining and helpful for those who still struggle with the fashion-thing.
@extrememinimalism just go off of your own eyeballs. If you are drawn to a color and you feel good wearing it, then go with it! It’s a helpful guideline, but I still never believe in strict “rules” for what you should wear 🩷
I’m in my 70s wish I could dress like that…I still don’t have. Style, jeans shorts, light weight tee shirts…all of a sudden my legs have red spots, brown spots and I need to find a light weight ankle pant to wear in this hot weather when in public.
I totally agree that wearing what makes you feel good and what you really like is the way to go. I am a very spontaneous person and following too many rules and having to overthink every item I buy is too much for me. I am very happy with my wardrobe, it’s small, simple and low maintenance. Thank you for this video and for the great points you brought up.
I have a problem that I like all fashion styles, I don't follow trends , but my wardrobe has all kind of clothes from all styles , the problem is that they don't really go with each other (some do ,but mostly don't) , the second one , I don't have much clothes, so even if i try to be in one style for some time I don't have enough accessories or clothes to pull the style.
It’s okay to like multiple styles as we often have different moods/energies we like to express. Maybe just pick your few favorites from each “genre”. As far as accessories we are told that you “need” them to pull off outfits, but I don’t think so. Simple looks elegant 💜
One example: If you own a buttondown shirt, you can style it in different ways and create different style vibes. You can wear it in a sporty or in an elegant way. You can wear it on the beach or for a business meeting. You can even use it as a layering piece. You can be very creative in styling basics. 😉 My wardrobe is minimalist and the colours of my clothes are mainly black, gray, brown and beige. This way I can combine everything easily. If I want a little "drama" I would put on my large sunglasses, red lips and red nail polish as my accessories.
@@marshaphonda7057 I usually try to do that , i even wear clothes the opposite way , e.g. i put V neckline on my back . However when we are talking about beige , i kinda don't like when it isn't the same shade of beige and it's really hard to find similar color of beige if they are not bought in the same store at the same time. I can go from casual to elegant easily with my wardrobe it's not really a problem. But sometimes I love to look like a hippie , sometimes as a metalhead and mostly classy or elegant in both categories. I try to find ideas on Pinterest to help me to combine all in one . But then i end up with a lot of colorful and printed clothes and less with the basic. So now I am trying to find the basics that I like the most and just buy a statement pieces that can go with everything like hers red kimono. I want to be minimal in las half of year i gone minimal with all my stuff expect the clothes. And even then i got 5 big trash bag of clothes to donate. When I say I have small amount of clothes I mean those that I bought and actually wear . I have a lot of clothes that other gave me to try out if not to give it to the people that need instead of them throwing them out. Let's get back to the topic . So basically I wanna rock all vibes but as a minimalist and I didn't found people that are like me on internet so it's kinda hard to get good tips. For now I am trying to do this. 1. Get rid of clothes that i don't like 2. Find the material that I like ( i am picky abt this) 3. Find the colors that I like ( I also love them all) 4. Find the shape of clothes that I like ( i am kinda picky) 5. And always buy or save the comfortable stuff ( I am lucky that since i was little i used to hate uncomfortable clothes so i never bought them or saved if i got some for free) 6. Finding the inspiration of what i really want on Pinterest But still even if I am trying to follow this , I still don't know how to make it minimal and satisfactory for me. Ps. I am not that kind if person that must go minimal so is getting rid of everything, i do that bc i find it easier for the life . But at the same time I wana enjoy in the few thing that I selected. I am sorry if I wrote to much of unnecessary things . But I feel like this comment section could help me.
I laughed so hard w the intro. Love the sponsorship

Thank you 🩵🩵
Me: 3 leggings 3 t-shirts 3 sweathers 3 bras 3 socks 3 underwear
AMAZING 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻✨✨✨
I always enjoy & appreciate your videos. Thanks again.
You are most welcome 🌸
Another refreshing video as always! 💕 I love a dark-wash skinny jean or black yoga pant as my go to look. The current jean trend is for a wider leg. I'm sticking with my trademark skinny jeans. 💚
Hah yeah I bought a flare bell bottom from a thrift store last year and they looked super dumb on me 😄😄 Trends are not for everyone!
This is Amazing!
It's crazy I watch all !! of your Videos, although wardrobe is not my topic. So this is a big compliment 👍
Thank you my friend Felix ✨🩵✨
Yes learning to love our bodies can absolutely lend itself to a smaller wardrobe because we aren’t trying to improve things on the outside 🩷
This is my real struggle, so addictive.
It’s a biggie but with strong intention you can overcome it 🩷
You inspired me a lot so thank you ❤
You are welcome 🌸
Love the intro 😂😂 I have a pretty small wardrobe but I would love to minimize it more, I really struggle to find exactly what works for me, even though after some years I got more of an idea, sometimes I still buy for a fantasy self and those clothes end up not being really worn. Nice tips Alicia! I really love to think of a uniform like a character 🥰
Ah yes the future fantasy self- I’ve definitely bought for her too hahaha. Always a good practice to come back to “who am I in THIS moment” 💖
Great information and ways of looking at how to best 'outfit' ourselves minimally! Thank you!
You are welcome! Glad you enjoyed 💚💚
I'm 18 seconds into your video and already making a comment: I approve of your sponsor.
😹😹
Still discovering what is my style. I do like simple classic pieces that can be combined seamlessly and must be comfortable that I feel my best in. You ‘ve done a great job with your choices as it fits you perfectly!! Everything you show looks wonderful on you.
Thank you 🙏🏻✨🩷 And style can evolve over time for sure. Just keep paying attention to what you feel best in 🩵
One team one dream!!
😄😄🩷
Yay uniform life! And yes I talk with my eyes and hands a lot lol
I am a denim queen - my superhero outfit. 😂
Hell yeah awesome! 🔥
❤ Again a fabulous video 😊 thank you for the amazing advice. I feel like most of these I knew but I need someone to confirm that it is OK to have a minimal wardrobe 😂 I have a few items I keep for business events/funerals. Guess how many years it has been since I last touched those items.
Hah yeah those just in case items love to sit and collect dust.. 😁 Glad you enjoyed 💜
Yes amen to that! 🌟🌟
Eff that.
Yes absolutely EFFFFF that 🙅🏻♀️🙅🏻♀️🙅🏻♀️
Hi Alicia, another great video 😊 thank you.
I have a very minimal wardrobe too, i love dresses, of mid length (above ankle) i live in Scotland, so shorts dresses are a no go!
My wardrobe consists of
4 dresses one of them is a tailored, fitted black dress, which i wear for interviews and funerals.
2 pairs of leggings
2 t shirt tops
Denim jacket for summer
Winter coat
Bathing suit (im a swimmer too)
Undies
Pair of white trainers ( they go with eveyhting!)
Boots for winter
Black heals
And sandals.
Do you have plans for your birthday? How would you like to start and embrace this next era of your life?
I spent my 40th birthday climbing Dunns river fall in Jamaica. It was beautiful and so much fun! I day of laughter and water plunging!😂
Your wardrobe sounds perfect! And yes I have some plans- I’ll be sharing in an upcoming video. My biggest intention for this next phase is to really get to know on a deeper level the divine feminine energy within me and come into my full power within that. Also continue deeper connection to Nature. PS I can’t wait to visit your beautiful country 💜
Sounds perfect Alicia 💜
You have such a beautiful soul. I'm throughly enjoying watching all of your videos.
I hope you get the opportunity to visit our wild beaches, sparkling lochs and romantic castles! ✨️ I reckon you will fall in love with Scotland! We have some fine looking men too! 😉 😂
@Sammy000 That all sounds amazing 😄💜
Great video!
Thank you! 💚
Thank you Mark! Sounds like you have an awesome tiny wardrobe! Hope you are having a lovely day as well 🌸
Actually, my ideal wardrobe would be to wear simple robes like the Buddhist monks and have only 2 pair, one to wear and one as backup while washing and drying the other. I am not there yet.

@markhines192 Go for it!
Thanks for calling out the sustainability issues with fast fashion.
White is not my jam either. It doesn’t look good on me and it’s an impractical color for me with stains and so forth. I love a neutral pallet with a few pieces with colors. Easy to mix and match too. ❤️
Neutrals with a fun pop of color can be nice too :)
The Take Back Bag by ForDays is a great way of reducing clothes and fabric but avoiding them ending up in the landfill.
Great tip thank you! 🌟
I need you to make a video about how to get your wardrobe to that. I have 4 seasons here in Canada, plus i work at « tj max » so i have very tooooooo many clothes . Clothes are the things I own the
Most.
As for the shopping, I have a video titled “how I cured my addiction to shopping to become an ultra minimalist” if you want to check that out 🌼💜
Thank you for the great advice 🌿
You are welcome 🙏🏻✨
Yes, thank you for the tips!
Thank you for another fantastic video ❤
You are welcome my friend 💚
Helpful video many thanks! Trying to figure out my colours (I love white but know will be weary of wearing it as know will spill food on them lol or get it dirty somehow) so a nope for me on white :) x
Glad you enjoyed 🌸💜 And yes white looks great but is a magnet for food stains 😅🍝
thats funny. i wear white when im afraid of stains cuz white is the only thing that can be bleached
Lol
@@Exploravore 5 days straight wow... maybe I can do it too. Baby steps🙂
Sounds like a sleek and awesome outfit! 🌟
I have a random question please! What's better, almond or peanut butter? I was stuck in the shop deciding on both and thought "what would Exploavore do" hahaha
lol PEANUT BUTTER! But: must be organic, with no added oils, salt or sugar- just straight peanuts :)
No! 😄
I think it is nice to see my personal style has not evolved one little bit the last decades, and I never have to explain that 'that was the trend back then'. Your video is entertaining and helpful for those who still struggle with the fashion-thing.
Awesome to hear you have found your superhero uniform and know your truth. I agree those videos with the “shoulds” make me gag 😆😆

Again...❤❤❤
🙏🏻🌟🩵
Purple veins is a cool skin tone and green veins is a warm skin tone. Everything is exactly the opposite.
Woops yes had that backwards 🤪 my veins are purple and I have a cool tone
What if you are kinda both or it isn't clear?
@extrememinimalism just go off of your own eyeballs. If you are drawn to a color and you feel good wearing it, then go with it! It’s a helpful guideline, but I still never believe in strict “rules” for what you should wear 🩷
They found out that the colour of your veins has nothing to do with your skin tone. 😉
@marshaphonda7057 ah interesting!
You're so beautiful ❤ ❤️❤️ teyon video please please please
🙏🏻🩵
Awsom ❤..funny can't do tights uncomfortable for me im a jeans gal thanks
I’m in my 70s wish I could dress like that…I still don’t have. Style, jeans shorts, light weight tee shirts…all of a sudden my legs have red spots, brown spots and I need to find a light weight ankle pant to wear in this hot weather when in public.
@lindag5076 I say dress however you like- wear what feels awesome and authentic to you 🦋
Baby goats 😅😅😅
🐐🐐🐐💜
Isn't the opposite, green veins warm tone and purple veins cool tone????
Hahah yeah I misspoke- happens sometimes when you are recording with no script 🤪
Just joining this live: wondering how you wash your clothes . By hand?
I use a washer and dryer- laundry just one load per week :)
Baby goats 😂
I totally agree that wearing what makes you feel good and what you really like is the way to go. I am a very spontaneous person and following too many rules and having to overthink every item I buy is too much for me. I am very happy with my wardrobe, it’s small, simple and low maintenance. Thank you for this video and for the great points you brought up.
*prime viewing time of baby goats in the wild is about 2am outside of the Las Vegas clubs..
Glad you have found the tiny sweet spot!
Not really relevant to the subject of this video, and I was listening, but I love your hair.
Awe thank you 🥰🥰
I have a problem that I like all fashion styles, I don't follow trends , but my wardrobe has all kind of clothes from all styles , the problem is that they don't really go with each other (some do ,but mostly don't) , the second one , I don't have much clothes, so even if i try to be in one style for some time I don't have enough accessories or clothes to pull the style.
It’s okay to like multiple styles as we often have different moods/energies we like to express. Maybe just pick your few favorites from each “genre”. As far as accessories we are told that you “need” them to pull off outfits, but I don’t think so. Simple looks elegant 💜
One example:
If you own a buttondown shirt, you can style it in different ways and create different style vibes.
You can wear it in a sporty or in an elegant way. You can wear it on the beach or for a business meeting. You can even use it as a layering piece.
You can be very creative in styling basics. 😉
My wardrobe is minimalist and the colours of my clothes are mainly black, gray, brown and beige. This way I can combine everything easily.
If I want a little "drama" I would put on my large sunglasses, red lips and red nail polish as my accessories.
@@Exploravore I will try to do that . Thanks for the idea 💜
1. Get rid of clothes that i don't like
2. Find the material that I like ( i am picky abt this)
3. Find the colors that I like ( I also love them all)
4. Find the shape of clothes that I like ( i am kinda picky)
5. And always buy or save the comfortable stuff ( I am lucky that since i was little i used to hate uncomfortable clothes so i never bought them or saved if i got some for free)
6. Finding the inspiration of what i really want on Pinterest
But still even if I am trying to follow this , I still don't know how to make it minimal and satisfactory for me.
Ps. I am not that kind if person that must go minimal so is getting rid of everything, i do that bc i find it easier for the life . But at the same time I wana enjoy in the few thing that I selected.
I am sorry if I wrote to much of unnecessary things . But I feel like this comment section could help me.
@marshaphonda7057 totally!
