Woodturning: Mesquite Bowl with a Hint of Resin

In today's video I'm going to turn this half of a mesquite log that I got from a friend's backyard. I added a little resin to make up for the flat area of the log.

Beautiful mesquite wood bowl. The grain is gorgeous. I live in NE Arizona now as well as other areas of Arizona. Mesquite has always been one of my favorite woods from here. You did an awesome job. Thank you for sharing. Love it. 💕❤

Just curious as to why you didn't use the left over resin to fill the cracks. CA glue makes rhe wood more brittle and isn't really food safe.

Nice work Ed! The resin looks great with the wood. I've never turned mesquite before how is it? My favorite woods were I live are black walnut and red cedar. Take care and GOD BLESS 🙏!
