At the end of the day you are still a team that lost to northern Illinois. Doesn't matter how bad you beat navy. You shouldn't be #8 and you lost to northern Illinois
@@seanbrower4701 That loss was in week 1. The playoff committee looks at the entire body of work when comparing the Irish to the other teams in the rankings. Every week once the rankings come out will be a new look at all the teams. Just keep winning and ND is in & most likely will get a home game.
The roughing penalty on KVA was an absolute joke. I was happy that the announcing crew pointed out how bad the call was. Too often the guys in the booth turn a blind eye.
Agree with Mike Singer that Riley Leonard is definitely a good player (and even better kid-see his press conference). Fans continuing to complain about our QB play are stupid and annoying. Even on bomb to Faison saw fans in chat complaining “ if we had a QB who could throw that was a touchdown”🤬Please shut up !!! Anyway that is my pro Riley rant. Please support OUR QB1! And congrats and God Bless to Mike and his wife🙏👍
The play calling over the past 4 or so games has been built around his style of play and he's playing great. I was highly frustrated with him and Denbrock early on but the offense is rolling and will continue to do so
@@TimHydecoach I agree Tim! Angelli a fine player but taken more sacks in his last 7 quarters of play then Riley in 8 games. This line (and Denbrock O) needs his mobility and great escape ability. Makes me wonder about 2025 QB1 Always love your shows! Go Irish
Smart move starting Scrauth at LG with Coogan and Rocco's experience. That should strengthen the OL moving forward and Billy can really help and coach up Knapp on the field.
Coogan has played really good ball this season at center. Rocco was the RG last season, and it made sense to put Billy in at LG for a struggling Sam. Thanks for watching and joining in the chat with us.
Meanwhile there will be sec and big ten teams not only getting in with two losses but getting a home game. ND won't get a home game unless they go undefeated the powers to be won't allow it. They won't be get any type of benefit of the doubt until they eventually join the big ten
@@just1ndgal486 Yeah. And it was valid "talk." I'm not talking about whether ND deserves or doesn't deserve to be the CFP or to get a home game. My point is that I am certain there is not a conspiracy against ND, which was the clear implication of the original comment. That the committee would not allow it to happen.
@@robertjohns1675 The 5th and 6th seeds will be the Big10/SEC title game loser. That will be a 2 loss team. I could see the 7th seed the ACC title game loser. ND is my pick for the 8th seed with a 11-1 finish.
I think Riley Leonard is a sufficient enough quarterback our defense is top 10 in FBS I think we have played through injuries pretty well we're deep enough defensively and plus my cousin is the team physician played at Notre Dame for 4 years J Love runs well I think we'll be one of the hottest teams coming into the playoff I believe that and I watch the game closely go Notre Dame boy
I was surprised the general media didn't bring up that navy has a bottom 3 sos, everybody was questioning Texas's schedule after they got smacked by Georgia.
Next year and yr after when this o line gets better young and Williams backfield gonna be great but need the top te’s to keep coming.i think we slacking there last two cycles.we should have top two or three te’s begging to come here.
I sincerely expect ND to have one of the best, if not the best, OL nationally next year. Whether either Love or Price are back or whether the brunt falls on Young and Williams - ND will be strong running the ball.
Congrats on the addition to the family, Singer.
First. Just back from the game. The Irish played great, and Navy self-imploded. The Irish did what they needed to do.

It was beyond bad. Took away a sack/fumble from KVA. What can you do sometimes with these refs!
And great show boys
Thank you!
Hay Mike, congratulations on the baby girl

@@MICHAEL-i9l1d Always appreciate the support.
I think the RB rotation should be Love Young/Price than Williams. Young is a dog out there and needs more meaningful carries imo
Young was playing against navy’s backups . Love and Price is the combo right now …. Williams / Young future
Yeahhhhhhhhh 😊

Committee is not going to let us host. It would be too awesome. Not allowed.

I’m not sure about that. An ND home game in Rd 1 seems like a good thing for publicity and viewership. I think sometimes ND fans get a bit paranoid.
@@dashx1103 The talk last night was, “Gee, should ND make CFP if they go 11-1? I don’t know.” Anyway, 1 game at a time.

ND still paying the price for the NIU home loss. Right now they look like a top 5 team. Don’t forget they beat A&M on the road.
Positive energy ND gets a home game!
Seems like on D they went with guys who had experience v Navy. Didn’t see Oben, Young, Clark, or Hinish much at all
They had a core of guys they went with up front in this game.

O think the Kedron Young slash Williams backfield gonna be too in country better than price and love for real!!!
Now that is a bold statement, and one to watch down the road. Thanks for the comments and watching the show.
Devyn Ford startled the Navy kick returner for one of those turnovers.
Ford is an absolute stud on special teams.
Navy got scuttled.
I was surprised the general media didn't bring up that navy has a bottom 3 sos, everybody was questioning Texas's schedule after they got smacked by Georgia.
I talked about on the show this week. Navy & Army were ranked in the 140's per the Sagarin strength of schedule.
If Beettis was the bus, Young should be at least a moving van.
Love that!
We play a lot better on the road. Leonard Moore stands out.
Fun win, and thank you for joining in the chat.
Thought Willims or Young would redshirt; apparently not.
Williams has been the 3rd back all season. Young will play in 4 games and use a redshirt.
