Great story, I liked how you kept Dennis's personality in this story and how his trick managed to get him into trouble. It worked very well, and I was thinking of 'Dirty Work' (S2) when the other engines had to do their own work :). I liked the cameo appearance of Victoria the blue coach :). Rosie's appearance at the end gave me a surprise indeed :D.
Another great episode! I actually like how you protrayed Dennis and how he learned how badly laziness can affect others! Plus, the articles you have on devianart are very creative too! Great job!
Great story, i love your creativity. I wish I had your story telling skills. To come up with a story so good it could be on TV is something to be proud of. You should be proud of your work!
Such a great episode and It's great to see Dennis appear in another episode as we never see him and some of the other engines like Neville in the TV show apart form only one episode
oh a fox well i guess i can hear it ish but once again a brilliant story im watching your strories from season 1 to the current episode and im already on season 4 ep 19
A delightful episode; certainly more enjoyable than the previous one. Very clever to actually have Daisy as the voice of reason; true we knew she was lazy at one time but I never actually thought of her having something in common with Dennis; so nice to establish a bit of common ground between them! Though I suppose Daisy's idea was to do the work she wanted (passengers only) while Dennis didn't really wanna do anything :P Oh and nice job on the wee threat of Dennis being a Diesel Generator if he steps outta line. Heh @ 3:28; I think ol' Lowham Hatt shaved :)
Great to see Dennis in the spotlight this time but if I know him, he's somehow gonna be playing hooky again to weasel his way out of work. Also, he's on the right track to be a useful engine but he's gonna have to work hard if he's gonna earn Gordon, Henry and James' trust again.
Well, well. Three episodes in a row! This story is well-written and it gives a bit of emphasis on Dennis, much like that "The Past in the Past" emphasizing Rosie.
i do enjoy your work, you give your episodes such a classic feel to them like the old days when Ringo narrated, you incorporate the new characters into it so well (better than HIT does), i'm looking forward to seeing the next story about Sheffield (although it might be because he's named after where i live :))
Remember when I told you about an episode set on Galaxy Express 999 back during episode 10 and you said that it should have a moral? Well, I've thought of a good one. It kind of follows up to that of James with Doctor Who. I was thinking that maybe Gordon would find out about it and learn about it, but he would dislike it a lot and would start to think that no one should like it either, and he would keep going on about this until Sir Topham Hatt would find out and tell him that just because he doesn't like the show, it doesn't mean that no one else should, which is the moral I was thinking about.
NWR1991 I really like this especially since you added a piece of music from Pokémon. I had no idea that you were a fan of Pokémon! Anyway, Dennis will learn in time to be sensible and become a wiser and more of a really useful engine. Keep it up mate!
+NWR1991 Indeed! I've been a fan of the series myself since it was first released to America in '97! I like the theme songs best of all and every now and then, they add a bit of romance between Ash and his potential female match up every time he starts a new region. My favorite region he's been to is the Sinnoh Region, no doubt about it!
Bradley Duncan Pardon me, Nwr1991, but.... it appears my account is blocked from your DA, if I did something, I greatly apologize. And if you must block me here as well, well, I'll miss your work greatly but fully understand. I am sonicandthomasfan7. I love your work and always make sure I catch every episode.
Wouldn't it have been better to tell Dennis about how rewarding it feels to work hard? Something along the lines of 'You don't know that feeling of accomplishment you get after a hard day's work' or something? As a lazy person myself, I know that'd motivate me. Meanwhile, this episode had better pacing than your last one, so well done on that. Now, I hope you don't mind me asking, but would you consider doing another Emily episode? You don't have to answer this question of course.
After all these years, Gordon, James and Henry still think they are above shunting? I think the Fat Controller needs to send them back to the shed so they can learn they are "not so important after all". Also, at 3:28, the Fat Controller seems to be going to complain to himself. LOL. XD. Overall, love the story, like always. Finally, how soon will we see Sheffield's experience that left him resentful of trucks? Just curious.
I have to admit, this episode was (without a doubt) MUCH better than "Thomas' Day Off", Dennis' first appearance, and I've always wondered what'll feel like if Dennis gained an episode to himself. If you don't mind me asking, when will Sheffield return and will Peter gain his own episode?
Light engine is a singular engine travelling without a goods or passenger train. I don't know why a brake van needed as I've seen it in other videos such as TardisRescue and Simireski
Is isn't that Sir Topham Hat at 3:33 on the left and didn't NWR1991 say that the passengers stormed up to Sir Topham Hat's office, so doesn't that mean that there are TWO SIR TOPHAM HATS??!!
This episode has a good moral, also it looks like the tender engines have not changed at 2:27!

Fantastic work! I particularly liked the conversation between Daisy and Dennis.
Great Work on this episode. Your series is the best fan made Trainz series out there.
This seems alot like something awdry would write

Awesome video! I think this episode was amazing. The story was well planned out and the music was spot on :)
Such a great episode and It's great to see Dennis appear in another episode as we never see him and some of the other engines like Neville in the TV show apart form only one episode
whats up with the random screaming when dennis is in ffaquar quarry
+Docter Geko (DG) It's a fox howling and it's Anopha quarry
oh a fox well i guess i can hear it ish but once again a brilliant story im watching your strories from season 1 to the current episode and im already on season 4 ep 19
lol I have been doing the same :)

Nice to have dennis to have his own episode
Funny how the "stout gentleman" is complaining to Sir Topham Hatt! Simple episode, but it has a very strong moral. I like the voice actors too!
This was a really good episode, hopfully Dennis would have learned his lesson this time, also what was the name of the music piece at 4:32?
+Daniel Alsop It's "Reunion" from Pokemon OST Season 1

Well it's a maybe

I'm more of a fan of the original series but I do like watching the ones from Advanced-XY

Is it possible you could do a dock and explosives episode with Rosie? Considering her class worked with those materials.
I wonder when you'll make the next episode about Sheffield?
Tender engines don't shunt. I miss those days.
Beautiful work as always, my friend! :D

6:38 what's with Denise's eyes

Tived Nagol I could've done that but it might come use to an episode in the future

Had Dennis's eyes gone in the end?
They're there
@ECCS - Yennie
Oh, that's caused by the shine in his eyes.
What was that noise in the background at the end?
***** An animal of sorts. Probably a fox. I hear that sound in Midsomer Murders all the time.
The Vicarstown Sentinel It's definitely a fox
Please dont make a pun there
I wasn't making a pun I was saying it was a fox making that sound :P
No " what does the fox say" pun
I downloaded Dennis' model but it only gives me the sander and horn in the train menu :/
What was that music at 4:33?
+200Mikey It's "Reunion" from Pokemon OST Season 1
I have a question: why is it that every engine arriving/returing (diesel) is always coming in with a brakevan. Sorry if this is a nitpick.
That's 'light engine'. Meaning it's just one engine to another close mind
Light engine? Care to explain what this means, my railway logic is sometimes blank
Light engine is a singular engine travelling without a goods or passenger train. I don't know why a brake van needed as I've seen it in other videos such as TardisRescue and Simireski
I see now, thank you for your wisdom
Is isn't that Sir Topham Hat at 3:33 on the left and didn't NWR1991 say that the passengers stormed up to Sir Topham Hat's office, so doesn't that mean that there are TWO SIR TOPHAM HATS??!!
David Harwood No, I only used his model as a random passenger :P
Thanks for letting me know!
-David
He does canonly have a twin.
where was Dennis's eyes at the end? lol
GWR6029 The eye textures Bob uses for his models are kinda creepy and weird :p
I LOVE THIS STPRY!!!
Yay dennis
Didn't Dennis already have an episode?
He only had a cameo in my series he's already there. Which why I provided the back story
Huh, I could have sworn there was an episode where he was assigned to being a utility engine.
That was Derek :P
Excellent story ;)
Anothe diesel generator?
Lorenzo Gonzalez salas I was referring to Stanley, from the TVS it’s Smudger (who wasn’t a diesel generator at all)
Oh thanks
Nice, now that you've given Dennis his own episode, I wonder when you will give Cranky his own episode.
Kyle Eaton I don't think so. He has limitations as a character. He might as well just be supporting character
Good point, he even has less faces to produce anyway. Only one face as a matter of fact.
