The fact that “women” in the comment section are defending Mariam is wild! For a woman to try to degrade another woman because she doesn’t have children is disgusting. First of all, you don’t know the circumstances as to why the person doesn’t have children. It could be because she has health issues, or is waiting for marriage to have kids, or simply doesn’t want kids. There a plethora of reasons but whatever the case it’s never okay to throw that in a fellow woman’s face. Mariam is definitely outdoing it this season…and not in a good way. Smh
No one is saying Miriam was right. However, watch from the beginning, she was harshly provoked. Chioma even came at her as though she wanted to fight physically. Not to mention the embarrassment they gave her during the painting. That was way too much.
Thank God it's Chioma... The pills are being served to her but she can't swallow them. Remember how she treated Toyin's miscarriage? She even denied and stood her ground that Toyin was even pregnant in the first place. Do they play with things like that?
Put yourself in Toyins shoes, Chioma called her a liar for saying she was pregnant and this happened at the same time Toyin was grieving a miscarriage. Chioma knew that what she said opened very deep hurtful wounds for Toyin but she never apologized. Not to mention how Chioma and her assistant tried to harass Toyin before the miscarriage was announced. What if all that stress is what contributed to Toyin miscarrying in addition to other unknown factors?
Thank you for saying this. No woman should be spoken to like this. These things don't go away and she wasn't joking about it because she kept saying "I said what I said". Even Laura didn't agree with that statement. All the people saying Chioma deserved those words, should not complain when the exact same thing is said to them. Let them also take it in as a "joke". Mariam needs to learn to bridle her tongue. You've been waiting on a child yet you're insulting your fellow woman about not having a child. Maybe she doesn't understand that life is spiritual.
