Good review. I have the 2 person Bluefin Ranger. Its a great kayak, but found the metal D rings on it bend like liquorice! Also the plastic seat clips, snap far too easily!!! I have replaced them with aftermarket metal ones.
Thanks. The Ranger has to feel a bit less squishy on the water with the drop stitch floor.
Would you say the Ranger is alright for just one person?
@@Northern_Rockhopper Without a doubt. My wife in the front, holding onto our collie (he likes to jump in lol)
and myself in the rear, paddling away quite easily!! So yes, one person would be fine, and much more room to carry whatever.
@@braddangolf3223 cheers, I’m debating the scout but feel the Ranger would be a lot more stable with the drop stitch floor.
@@lowbudgetadventurers Yes, it cuts through the water real good! We did a lot of research, before making our purchase. Its a really good kayak, and it has dropped in price quite a bit since last year. We paid just over £500 for ours from Bluefin.
