Nice passes. I tried speed runs one time. I did not hit my goal and gave up lol. I would have had to do more work than I was willing because I needed the truck for bashing.
It is a right pain kin the ass to speed run rc's, but I do love trying to top my personal bests. You know that in my heart, I'm always going to be a basher first.
Nice passes man. 🔥 I still have stock one but want to make it a small rocket like You did. Can You please tell how did You fix those Hoons on the 14mm Gorgon hex?
Thanks. I switched the rear completely with Typhon 3s 17mm axles and hexes. The front was trickier. I used the Typhon 3s hexes right on the Gorgon axles. The only thing holding the pin in place is the wheel. To stop them from wobbling, I rounded some M4 nuts and got them in far enough on the axle to keep the Hoons steady.
@@NOTORIOUS_J_RC good deal, thanks. I have a 10bl120 3660 Hobbywing combo for it but wasn't sure it'd fit and didn't wanna open it if not. Thanks. Can't lie I have been considering an 8bl150 and TP motor for it just for the insanity. Similar to what you have. Great build and congrats on that speed.
@@boduke9428 No worries. With the HW 3660, you'll need to mount with the motor wires facing to 1 o'clock. Straight up or back towards 11 o'clock won't work. I had that motor in mine for a while. Switched to a cheap Amazon 3800kv since
@@redblue40rc33 thanks. Just saw last week that Hot Racing is now making a 15mm motor spacer and motor mount for the Gorgon along with a servo saver. That should open up lots more options for everyone.
Congratulations!!! Awesome video!!! Happy RC’ing Y’all!!!
That’s crazy these trucks are so unstable and top heavy. Very impressive
She’s a monster I love it!!
Super sweet power wheelie😮😮alot more in it.very cool
Lol! When has a wheelie ever been sweet during a speed run. I almost sh!t myself when it started to lift😅

Nice Two records. Fastest Gorgon @80mph and fastest wheelie @68mph. 👍👍👍👍👍

What is the largest diameter motor that will fit without modifying the chassis?
36 series and can't be less than 60mm long. Hole is oblong, not round. Adjustment is for and aft to adjust mesh
