Just a guy who really loves playing and tinkering with rc cars and trucks. Trying to reach new limits of stunting, heights and speed.
Rolling through Friday the 13th 2024 in Port Dover with the Redcat Ascent Fusion
Beautiful day rolling through one of the largest single day gatherings of motorcycles in North America. Thanks to the organizers and all the people attending for allowing me to roll through with my GoPro mounted rc crawler, capturing all the beautiful motorcycles, the people and the buzz that comes from walking through such an amazing event. If you see yourself or your motorcycle, please leave a comment when and where on the timeline.

What’s the new set up to get it that fast? I love my Gorgon
@thomasl7782 it was a brushless set up using a 3660 3200kv motor running on 6s. Not recommended but was tons of fun in the moment
@@thomasl7782 I think I topped out at 80mph before giving up. Keeping the nose down became impossible
Those clips look more of a pain in the arss than actual body pins.😮
Looks fun 🤩
I remembered seeing you (it) when I was pulling in 5:19 (White helmet & White CVO ST) and again at 8:20. Very unique view of the Port Dover Rally. Pretty Cool. The opposite of my drone view. *New Sub*
@jeffwilliams716 Thanks Jeff. Definitely going to check out your drone footage tomorrow. That must be an amazing way to capture the day.
What's up "Notorious J"!...."CashMoji" here...Awesome video! We share a lot of the same passions. RC's, Motorcycles and Videography. I must have just missed you. Rode up from Windsor, we arrived at Port Dover around 2:00 pm. Only stayed a couple hours, It would have been cool to have bumped into the Redcat. I thought of bringing my HPI Savage. No room on the bike for it, LOL. It's a great P.O.V. shot and it seems as though it was well received. Every year everyone is just happy at that rally.Great vibes... Thanks for sharing.😎
thanks CashMoji. I got there early, around 10 am cause I knew I might not be as well received as the day went on and got busier. Glad you enjoyed it the video. Was awesome watching the whole thing unfold that day.
Sheeed 76 one way thats awesome
@Greentyphon I got it over 80 eventually but never posted a video. It's back to being a regular monster truck now
👍
Is this a home course? Its wicked
@@CanadianRC96 It's a course in Mississauga at the Mississauga Rc grounds and flying club on Meadowvale Rd. All free for everyone to enjoy
@NOTORIOUS_J_RC thats pretty cool, I only go down there now for hobby hobby and a couple other shops. Local ones here aren't the best
@@CanadianRC96 How far away are you?
@@NOTORIOUS_J_RC I'm on the south side of Lake Simcoe, 30ish minutes north of Newmarket
@@CanadianRC96 Worth the drive on a Sunday morning, but I'm sure you have beautiful natural rock areas where you are
Notorious! 🤘🏾
That's a great spot for jump's.
Blasting!
Dammmmmmm. That was huge bro.
Sweet session 🤙👌 that park is killer, such a shame they arent RC friendly. We need more RC friendly places!
nice jumps !!! notorious is the king !
What an awesome spot. GREAT JUMPS! Good luck.
Sweet Big Air jumps, good luck
HUGE airs!!! 🔥 💪👌 great video

Huge sends brother!
Sweet!! Good luck !!
Nice job ! Good sending for sure
Sweet. Massive sends👍🏻
Nice sends mate 👍🏻
Nice gap bro, good luck
Nice clearing gap bro good luck🤘
niiiiiice.
Damn Johnny! Those were SENT!👌👍🤙
Thanks Nate. Just needed some motivation to get these two high flyers out again. East Tactics jump challenge was the spark.
Nice… you’re more than cleared the initial gap of that double. Would’ve been crazy if you could’ve gotten 15 more feet and cleared that next birm. Got close on a couple of those. Great video. Got you entered in the challenge. Good luck.
Thanks! The Typhon landed on the mid way point of the ramp up to the second berm. That's the furthest I've ever made it. Lot of other great "gaps" at this bmx track, and I hope to showcase those jumps in another video.
Definitely fast for a Gorgon. You got put some time and a little money to make it do 75mph very impressive
nice speed run ..what tires are you running ?
@@brian7316 thanks. GRP S4 slicks
Great to see ya out running J..keep pushing it
@KBASHRC thanks Kyle. Just getting the feel for it now. Hopefully bigger and better soon
Nice run Johnny! 👍👍👍
@@mango-rc thanks Nate🤜🤛
Hello what size on the motor and the shaft do I need to have? Thinking of buying this and make it brushless
I was using a Hobbywing 3660 3200kv motor with a 5mm shaft. The game changer is using spur gears from the Infraction 3s so you can decrease the tooth count on the spur and increase the tooth count on the motor.
Your paint job killer bro
Can't take credit. Done by a local rc artist named Torontoleisurerc. My idea, his talent.
God damn this is underrated
Thats one way to fry the motor lol
I went 105 mph with the same motor in a Granite. Yes, eventually I did destroy it, but it was tons of fun while it lasted
That is awesome! Where did you find the spur gear your were running?
I made a homemade spool and switched to M1 gears. I think it was 1:1 but I'd have to go back through old posts to remember what size pinion/spur
What an awesome spot! You’re really able to let fly on that track! Where is it??
Found you 😅
Good god, I knew I could figure out this internet thing!
It's called the Toronto Pan Am Bmx track in Etobicke. Part of a giant recreation area called Centennial Park
One of your other videos is “attacking the hill” or something and I was going to ask if that was Centennial Park! My wife told me about it when we were heading toward the airport or something? She grew up by Burnamthorpe & the 427, so we’re down there quite a bit… I can’t believe she didn’t mention that track was there! I guess everyone thought all the PanAm stuff was near the village in the east end. I’m definitely going to find that next time I’m down!
@bryantaylor993 beware though. Rc's are prohibited and everytime I went, it was always looking over my shoulder. Don't go as often because I'm worried I'll get caught and have to pay a fine😮
I would like to lower my granite body, can you point me in the right direction pls
What motor and esc did u use
Castle MMX8S and a cheap 3800kv motor. Got it to 80, but it just kept blowing over after that.
Sick brosky. Nice car. What's your gearing?
This was from a couple of years ago. Probably 26t pinion with stock spur. The run was done on 6s
NIce pass.
Where u get those paddle tires
They're Proline Slingshot 3.8's. No longer available. Replaced with Proline Dumont
Where did you get those wheels I need some for my notorious please
These are no longer available. They're Proline Slingshot 3.8's. The closet to them now is the Proline Dumont of the same size
@@NOTORIOUS_J_RC ok thanks
I think I've seen you on the Arrma forum, bro. Cool stuff. Sub!
