I agree and Poles knows this as well. They have 4 picks in the first 3 rounds next year and add another 3rd round comp pick if Ian Cunningham gets a GM job. The draft and another year of free agency and Poles will have this team in the playoffs and contending for SBs every year. It is going to be hard to make the final 53 on the Bears in years to come. I think the "rebuild" happened quicker than I thought, let's see it play out on the field now. 🐻⬇️ ✌️✝️
When we see a QB that will process the field appropriately and not lead the NFL in time holding the ball the offensive line will look massively different. Hopefully Caleb is capable.

After drafting skill players this draft Bears will have some fire power in the offense. Next year I definitely see Bears drafting defensive line and interior offensive linemen to solidify their playoff team.

@djherhjak - Just like he did with Geno Smith, I don't believe OC Shane Waldron is going to put too much initial pressure on Caleb Williams. The offense will probably be a balanced attack with a lot of balls going to the RB's and TE's, initially, with mid to long range plays intermixed. Teams like Arizona, Tennessee, Indianapolis, Jacksonville and even Washington are improved and not guaranteed wins. I agree with you that we should be tapering our optimism. The Chiefs, Niners, Ravens, and Bills were all successful last season because their defenses were strong. The Bears need their defense to help the offense.
The Bears should have won 10 games last year , if it wasn’t for them losing big leads… now u add Swift, Allen , Rome , Everett, 2 offensive linemen, a legit OC and a generational talent QB … not to mention, the easiest schedule.. and y’all telling me 9 wins is enough 😂😂.. Bears fans are 😢

Having a top secondary is a waste when they have to cover for 5+ seconds. Still haven't addressed Center & Nate Davis has no interest in playing Guard at an above average level. Both sides of the line will be the downfall of this team if Poles doesn't make a couple moves!! Have no idea why Poles won't invest in a real Center (for a rookie QB) a 3 tech & someone opposite Sweat?? They Finally have the skill position players for a modern NFL offense, how creative is Waldron? Better question is why keep a conservative Defensive HC after stacking the offense, Flus is a nice guy, should've brought in an accomplished, aggressive, top-tier offensive minded HC to start fresh with 💪aleb, RO, DJ, KA, Swift, Kmet & Everret. What can Flus possibly teach any of those guys? Plus his defensive scheme is outdated, conservative & at times plain scared!! I think it was a mistake keeping him if you knew you were overhauling the offense, hope I'm wrong..
