New subscriber here mate. Been away for 5 years due to illness and Covid, but pleased to say I'm returning to Pattaya in Feb. '24.
Really enjoying the videos and they are bringing back great memories!
Last time I was in Bangkok down the Nana Plaza Soi right at the bottom I discovered a "secret" raised walkway a good 2 miles long! Going right took me to Limpini Park and left took me to another big park I'd never seen before! Also great views of Bangkok life along the entire length of it!
Just wondered if you've ever been on it mate.

@@geoffcarter Not easy to find mate. I went along a passageway at the side of the Woraburi Hotel, through a set of car barriers and came to a path at the side of a road.
Then went down left and I think I saw it from there. Also that railway line comes down there and I think you cross that to get to the steps up to the walkway. There are also steps up to it from one of the other Soi's maybe soi 8 or 10.
Bloody long walk down those roads!

Thanks Geoff was great to see soi 11 etc.. been to the Beer Garden a few times on soi 7 a great time always and giid draught lager.... as for street food l like the bbq chicken liver on a stick ... my favourite thai dish is Khao Soi Gai ....l think originally a Chiang Mai dish
I always look at the big Tiger and its cub in the antique shop window on the corner of Soi 11.
So do i ? I went in and spoke to them and said why have you never sold it? They said we have, about 25 times, they leave the same ones in the window. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

hi mate, saw on a different vlog that Aom's place (that did the brilliant mango smoothies on Pattaya Klang) has gone along with all the other stalls, not sure what they are planning for there, clearly Pattaya is a very different place at the moment. i fly out early January, if the bars are still closed i will be getting plenty of fishing done!!
Thats a shame about the market place Tony, i used that place quite a few times a week? Yes its deffo going to be a different Pattaya when we return mate 🙄👍

I’m gutted , I’ve just cancelled my flight , was supposed to be going 17 th December , far to much trouble ,what with this new variant on the horizon it’s just not worth it 😞

Ian from Bristol, I have been to Thailand from 2005 to 2015 and learned a lot.
Its all different now with the covid and the exchange rate making it different from back then. Its a place for a holiday for the future. i will be back when things get back to normal
