Looks great fun, half tempted to get one for a light green lane/good winter hack, especially for the current £5500, great vid as always, how about taking out a Moto Guzzi V85, would be good too see your views on that one
@@andyleeson6048 Free update. Official dealerships can do it. MotoHub in Stoke-on-Trent are advertising they are taking appointments for it. One other dealer closer to me is saying it'll be available in a month or so with them. Think it's rolling out depending on the dealership.
I finally realized that the UK uses the same speed measurement as USA. We are the only major countries in the world that use "MPH" as a measure for speed. I guess only 9% of the world uses "miles per hour." That's awesome. All this time, I was wondering why the English motorcycle channels kept saying "miles per hour" because it didn't make sense in a metric country. How does that work exactly? Is distance the only thing in the UK that isn't metric?
I think that this bike is probably the best looking machine in its class (even though at a glance it looks like it says X-Gape 😂).....great components too. To be honest i would seriously consider this machine if I was after a adventure bike, and to be fair a 650 is all that you need for everyday riding and commuting. Great review again Dan....love it ❤👍
Precisely---the Chinese bikes are the best looking bikes on the market right now. The 450MT and the 800 IBEX adventure bikes made by CF Moto. And the Moto Morini and also the the Kove 800. They all look significantly better... Well they just look damn good, and better than most of the Japanese offerings. And it really all comes down to having 2 semi-large headlights. The body lines should be soft, flowing, and feminine. And the headlights should look like eyes. That's what makes beauty. If you have any doubt, just go look at all the cars from the 1990's, and all the motorcycles, and everything else from the 1990's. There were no sharp edges in the 1990's, bikes had sweeping curves, and beautiful dual headlights. Nearly every model of motorcycle from the year 2000 was the most beautiful model ever made, and since 2002, Japan and now KTM have steadily built uglier and uglier bikes. The Japanese and the European makers can't seem to figure out how to build a headlight, or a muffler. You have to start first with a beautiful headlight assembly, and a beautiful muffler. If those things aren't right, then no amount of polish will make the bike look good.
I bought my CB650R at the time you did. What a great bike! It was and still showroom condition when I sold it, with a tear in my eyes, the other week. The Morini, a company with a stellar name, back in the day, looks good. The dash, however, looks like an acre of wasted space. I managed to see there was a gear indicator there, bottom right corner of the TFT television. It doesn't scream quality at one in the same way the CB did, really. I've just got the Hornet, ordered in April! It's plug ugly. But, it's a Honda, so I'll trust it. I seem to remember you rather liked the bike too? That's good. Safe riding.
100% agree with your assessment of this bike. I own a Superadveture, but rented an xcape for three weeks in France. I think it is the best in it’s class. Oh, and every time I stopped, people would ask about it and complement it’s appearance.
The nicest-looking bike in its class. Chinese heavy, lthough the weight didn't seem to bother you. If I was still a massive Dakar Rally-looking bike fan - I've had a fair few of them - I'd consider one of these. Enjoy yourself on the bike launch. Nick
Nice vid. It's a good looking bike, & appears well put together too. Great value as well. Although I guess there may be some question marks over the reliability & how exciting the engine is or isn't ti live with. And the tyres too seemingly lol.
Sad thing is: As there is no agent in the Nordic countries for Moto Morini the brand is only represented as 50CC engines like in my sons Fantic. They have representatives in all other European countries. Strange. Would love to try one out.
The genuine laughter is amazing to hear! Having fun on a bike that's what it is all about. Great video as always Dan
This is soooo much better looking than the Transalp.
I was genuinely worried for you with that car at the end. Good lord! This bike looks fantastic IMO. Glad to see it impressed you.

Highly contagious the fun you had there!
Great bike ! 8000 miles on mine now and loved every minute ! Looking forward to the sat -nav upgrade 👍🏻
Ive owned one of these for 2000 miles and its amazing. Great value qnd the fact they are rolling out the in built GPS to the UK makes it even better.
I have one too, 🎉great bike! When and how is the GPS roll out happening?

You handled the mud better than I could. Enjoyed the video

I literally said out loud “oh you twat” when the car pulled out in front of you 😂
Haha, couldn't believe it!
Be interesting to see what you think of the benelli 702 as a comparison
"...it all feels fine."
>proceeds to headbutt wind shield half a second later
I thought that was my finest moment! :D
Ha ha, I felt the Adrenalin kick in to your bloodstream when you chinned that screen! Excellent work sir 😆👍.
Literally just as I said all was fine 😂
You’re braver than me after the weather we’ve had, great looking bike and great vfm👍.
Good looking machine, looks far more expensive than it is.

Great video!
What a the service intervals?
How on earth do they manage to fit Brembo brakes and Marzochi forks on a bike costing under 7 grand.
I was wondering that too, seems as if they're taking a loss on every bike sold with that spec.
English biker Dan!!! Please review the kawasaki z1000!!!😅
Still no access to Kwaks. :(
@@Englishbikerdan ah damn. I'm so tempted to buy one or a cb1000r. Thanks anyways for the great, down to earth and honest content!😊
