It has been 7 years but it's still incredibly helpful and useful. I've successfully passed the first interview and preparing to the next one. Behavioural questions will be important. One thing to ask you. How we can talk about salary expectations in a polite way ? Since there are energy crisis and inflation. Thank you for your video 👍🏻
Firstly salary should be already known in the job advert. Secondly if you have to ask about salary make it a secondary question because you want the job not just for the salary it’s because you’re going to love the work and you need to make sure they know about that, before you talk about salary. Hi Ben thank you for your comments and your kind words, I do want to help people fulfil their potential. Re the Land Rover question; I did some research and I found many people who were looking for guidance to be able to work for Jaguar Land Rover, hence the video. However I wanted to ensure that it would also benefit others too! Yes the mirroring is a great way to get rapport, let me know how you get in with it. jncoachingtechnology I've just applied for a automotive role at jlr I passed the first assessment but I've now got to complete a logical assessment with questions any tips
MIKE Hi Mike well done for getting to that stage. Personally I have not completed one for a job interview but my daughter had to complete non verbal reasoning, I had a go at some practice examples which is the best way to get used to them. There are plenty of examples on the Internet. I found this for you and I hope it helps. www.kent.ac.uk/careers/psychotests.html So get in plenty of practice prior to the assessment! Although you state your advice is obviously applicable to any job interview, is there any reasoning as to why you have mentioned Jaguar Land Rover specifically? l shall look into 'mirroring' in more depth now and how the subconscious draws on this to project perhaps some degree of assimilation to the interviewer but in the main, it was pretty much textbook advice from school. l enjoyed watching though, you seem very genuine in your intent. Thank.

What can you do when your told who's got the job even before you have had your interview ?
That’s clearly an unfair internal process! You need to consider whether it’s a place you still want to work at if that’s how they recruit for roles. That would be a very personal choice for you!You need make your choice and decide what you really want! Thanks for watching and stay inspired

Nikk CArroll Wishing you all the best. In relation to your query it would be best to contact them direct to get the technical feedback you need. So get to know the technical part and then use the tips to strengthen your interview. Be awesome!

what is a technical interview in JRL im a panicking and worried what they might ask for me as im gonna try out a placement with them? What skills are required im a year 2 student in uni.
