So, after my first playthrough on Hardcore, I quickly realized the economy in Separate Ways is much more restricted than the main game, which is obvious for a DLC. There is not enough money to fully upgrade everything, so I narrowed down my list of weapons down to a handgun, a rifle, the knife and the blast crossbow Then I looked at that and was like "wait a minute... I could do a 100% accuracy run with this". So that's what happened, and that's why this video took 2 weeks to make. I almost regretted including this restriction quite a few times, but luckily I managed to pull through With that being said, unfortunately I did miss a couple things due to either fatigue or accidentally deleting earlier save files, so this run ended up not as being perfect as I wanted ☹: • In chapter 6, before you go to the airlift at 2:49:00, you can actually go back down to the Incubation Lab. There will be a secret Brute and a few Plaga Aranas waiting for you there. I only remembered after my save file at that point was overwritten... • In chapter 7, at 3:30:45, after meeting Ashley, there is a hidden Beetle that you can loot in that area. It took me too long to get an attempt where I could kill all Novistadors without missing a shot, at which point I completely forgot about it. I couldn't do it again against those goddamn Novistadors in subsequent attempts, so I gave up... So yeah, this video ended up being not a true all kill run or 100% run (I mean 100% loots; I did get 100% accurary) and I couldn't go back. I'm terribly sorry about that. Hopefully the rest is good for you guys Other than that, I will go back to my hiatus again due to IRL. I already have couple ideas for challenges runs for this DLC that I want to do in my free time, but I don't know when the next video will be, which could take months, so don't expect much xD As always, thanks all of you for watching :)
One thing that I really love about your walkthroughs is that you play the game with such elegance. Your style of play is truly distinct and clean compared to many others. And it feels immersive just to sit down and watch. Like a movie
You can thank that one other TH-camr. He's the only non-commentary walkthrough content creator that I can actually watch without any forward knowledge and still understand exactly what's going on, and he inspired me to produce my walkthrough with the same qualities. Things like proper camera details, no wasteful or unnecessary movements, knowing exactly where to go, and so on The downside of that is that creating such content requires a lot of effort and time. Luckily this game isn't too long. I could never do games that last 100 of hours with the same qualities

I am really Surprised and delighted by the characterization the developers created for Ada!!! In the cutscenes She often has sad eyes for what She Is doing! And her voice tone Is made up to make her seem distant from the situation when She Is Just trying to Hide her real emotions!

An interesting tip, when you enter the sewer, near where you pick up the guaranteed blast crossbow bolt, you can shoot the lock off of the barred door at that angle. just a neat little trick I thought people would like. really enjoying your RE4 content.
Unbelievable! After three months passed of your last upload of complete re 4 remake walkthrough, just yesterday I began watching that video. I sat through about 7 hours of the game, and just now finished the rest. And I was wondering how long it would take you to upload Seperate Ways, now I see this video.. it's a perfect time I guess. Thank you for all the effort you make to make your walkthrough look amazing.. especially for perfectionists like me.
I found your notes in the description interesting and informative, so I appreciate you including some of your thought process there. I also really love how neatly you control the camera movement. It's such a small detail but makes such a huge difference. Combined with how you examine everything (like the symbols for the door on the cliffside, or the print showing which shields to shoot), this feels really complete
Oh and your perfect parries are really satisfying to watch. I can't do it so reliably, so I often take a certain amount of damage in the treasure room. Watching the Armaduras go down so quickly is like a dream.
Yeah, this is my main walkthrough, so including cutscenes is a must. I only skip cutscenes in my challenge runs since they get repetitive (although technically this video is pretty much a challenge run as well lol)

Haha thanks! That part wasn't fully intentional. Each gate takes a while to open, so it's just happen that we have just enough time to walk to the gate. I could run, but then I had to wait for the gate to open regardless

You have earned more of my respect and a Sub. I just finished watching all of RE4 Remake videos after your sniper 100% accuracy video. You still amaze me with very high IQ moments that I haven't seen from other talented players have done on this game. Sniper video= Legendary, Shotgun video= Legendary, Minimalist video=John Wick Mode, SMG video= Hunk FU, and you make Hunk look like he was supposed to have his own game for us to play because of how great you played, and Seperate Ways= best gameplay ever, and you make Ada Wong look like she is RE's female version of James Bond, which you nailed it and this is the best playthrough in my opinion. To me it felt like I was watching this as it was a great movie but more than that. If I was the game itself, I would absolutely give you all of the rewards and an S+ instantly and forget about the time challenge and save conserving because of your great performance. I see why it took 2 weeks and it also takes good practice and I can tell that you have been studying the game itself which is very smart. Well done and keep up the good work. Great run but you actually missed at least THREE enemies. In Chapter 6 after you beat the Iron Maiden and get return to the front of the battery-locked fence, if you go back to where the Regenerator tanks where, you'll find an Arrow shooting Ganado and two small plagas. It's all lights out so you have to pretty much beat them in the dark, but it's easy enough to cheese with the ladder and jump through space.
2:43:39 Hell, didn't know it can be killed. I was running shitless around the base from THAT thing. Well, the game experience was even more immersive and "fun" in this case.
Chapter 5 when you fight 2 claw man if you let 1 live there will spawn more enemies extra. 1st wave those you killed 2nd wave 1 small spider and 2/3 normal cultists 3rd wave 1 crossbow and 3 cultists with 1 hlem cultist.

That sniper rifle is like a magnum period period you don't even need the real magnum period this thing is even betterror and I guess there are so many bullets.

Excellent ganeplay, MasterKD. So, what's your plan for working and getting 100% S+ rank challenge on professional difficulty from returning the main campaign back at the start with NG+ to finish? Also no merchant, no bonus weapons & items, no upgrades, no charms, and kill all enemies, no skipping cutscenes under 10, 9, 7, or 6 hours to return with recording footage as well?
Even if I didn't go for 100% accuracy, I think I still wouldn't use it. The gun isn't that great until you upgrade its power, and DLC doesn't give you enough money to upgrade everything
Side note, but i notice you dont buy the treasure map. Treasure map is way op. More importantly than it showing the location of treasure, it unlocks bonus treasures around the map that at least double the money you make in a play through…
@@modernwarhero8447 hmm, I thought bonus treasures are only available in the main game, and you need to buy the DLC map for it? In Separate Ways, I pretty much memorize all treasure locations and skip the map in order to save spinels
Now im not sure I always assumed the bonus treasures were from buying the maps from the merchant, but i did buy the deluxe version of the game that came with various dlc stuff 🤔

Love the play through, but man I can’t get over Lily Gao’s voice acting. I understand she sounds more “normal”, but in a game full of fantasy esc. voices, she stands out and not for the better.

Even if I didn't go for 100% accuracy, I think I still wouldn't use it. The gun isn't that great until you upgrade its power, and DLC doesn't give you enough money to upgrade everything
You do have a point the sub is cheeks in re4. I just like the free ammo it has in the start.
Side note, but i notice you dont buy the treasure map. Treasure map is way op. More importantly than it showing the location of treasure, it unlocks bonus treasures around the map that at least double the money you make in a play through…
@@modernwarhero8447 hmm, I thought bonus treasures are only available in the main game, and you need to buy the DLC map for it?
In Separate Ways, I pretty much memorize all treasure locations and skip the map in order to save spinels
Now im not sure I always assumed the bonus treasures were from buying the maps from the merchant, but i did buy the deluxe version of the game that came with various dlc stuff 🤔
I played the original for countless hours still play it from time to time I have never been able to do it no damage how do y'all make it look like it's on easy mode?

Love the play through, but man I can’t get over Lily Gao’s voice acting. I understand she sounds more “normal”, but in a game full of fantasy esc. voices, she stands out and not for the better.
