If this is the reploid that Colonel and Iris were _meant_ to be, then that means Iris was made first, and was meant to house both the mind of a super soldier and a pure empathic heart. So when she couldn't handle that, they took out the super soldier, and made Colonel with it, at the same time redesigning Iris into another type or Reploid, since she wouldn't be a combat type.

I've seen her concept art with Colonel's hat, and being honest, she looks good with it on.
I noticed she says one of the same quotes cornel uses, a neat touch
