He does this a lot less nowadays my only explanation is that back then he was being ironic singing like that, love them but the singing totally ruins it for me
i love the drums but for me he kind of takes the the fun away from the songs when hes singing like that. if he thought that sounded good he would of recorded it like that. stick to the script the band is amazing and he is too but t when hes singing with the attitude kinda wrecks it 4 me
terdfergusson36 Personally, I prefer when he sings like this. I actually wish he sang like that on the records but I can still tolerate the original recordings. I just find the live singing he does to be much more enthralling.
Saw them a couple of months ago. Don't remember if he sounded like this, but I definitely remember thinking "wow they are a million times better live than on the record!"
It's a shame that Johnny sucks live... and it doesn't even looks like he's trying lol. Btw I would've never guessed that they were playing best friend if he hadn't said it.
Laira M I wouldn't say "sucks" per say, but he's definitely different vocally and melodically wise as well. Like he's going off tangent, but nothing wrong with that imo.
i love the drums but for me he kind of takes the the fun away from the songs when hes singing like that. if he thought that sounded good he would of recorded it like that. stick to the script singing wise anyways
terdfergusson36 If that's your attitude to music then you must be a pretty boring person. The reason why I love live shows is because you get to see a different rougher side to an act, it's not polished, it lets the members show expressions and emotions that they aren't able to on the record. Thank you for your comment because it made me listen to this again and realise how great it is. Have you ever seen The Smiths/Morrissey, Joy Division, Rancid or any punky pop act live? It's completely different to the record, if you want someone who "sticks to the script," I'd recommend going to see Beyonce or Rianana or any of those fuckers that lip sync over their album for an hour and charge their, "fans," ridiculous amounts of money to do so.
Who's here in 2024?? :D
Definitely me 🤸🏻♂️
Me
there's something special about these guys. the riffs and playing is so simple but somehow captures a great vibe and entertaining stage presence.
its more simple to understan low achordds
Too bad the synth guy left the band.
“I felt stupid” is such a fire song, I hope they play it this April!
best lineup for sure!
the best they've ever played
When I saw the Drums My life has changed

Going to see the drums at the glass house I can't wait
Awesome show.
I love and respect JP. This was a long time ago and Johnny has really found himself and he is a completely different animal now.
I also think! Today he is very refined! He's animal....

muito legal esse show..

Quien es este bajista? 👀
Desafinou pra caramba em alguns momentos hein! rs
1:55 I hate when he vibrates his voice like that. Too much crooning. It sounds like he's gurgling in the water.
No te quejes,,,
@@kaleidoscopio2932 Hay no. Se escucha mal. Igual lo amo.

terdfergusson36 It's his band and music he can do what the fuck he wants with it
+terdfergusson36 I can't stand when bands do that myself, it changes the whole experience of seeing bands when they mess up their own songs
It's a shame that Johnny sucks live... and it doesn't even looks like he's trying lol. Btw I would've never guessed that they were playing best friend if he hadn't said it.

he isn't bad live.
It's just that in this one he didn't give a fuck, or he was too nervous or excited
He has definitely improved tremendously. Check out his more recent live shows. You can really tell he is actually trying now.
His voice tone sucks here.
The singer's attitude is simply ridiculous. Go & learn how to sing alive mate!!.
the question is who are you?

its not my attitude just my opinion i love their music just wish he sing without the yodeling
he sings much better nowadays, and actually has improved his vocal range for live shows
