There’s a clip where he’s describing opossums as “forest shrimp” and a bunch of other theoisms talking about animals and honestly someone talented enough with a lot of free time or a serious ADHD hyper fixation hole could just weed through years of video and compile a wildlife narration and put it over a compilation of coordinating animals and it would be astounding, magical, a VonMasterpiece.

He reminds me of myself; when one of my best friends moved here I told her right before swinging in the water we had “red river scorpions” (craw dads) as a joke and she shit her pants and believed me lol I kept the joke going for a while until winter and said “oh they hibernate this time of year” hahaha

Turkey hunting is very hard prob the hardest thing I ever hunted. I got one but I think it happened more by accident than skill LOL... Congrats Caleb and Theo on a successful hunt, remember its not about what you get its about spending time with your friends and family and enjoying nature. I will be out there tomorrow trying to get my deer with my brother and cousin

Hunting is kinda one of those things that you almost have to grow up doing your whole life to enjoy I think. Especially bow hunting. For most hunters it’s not all about killing everything, it’s about enjoying the peace and quiet of nature and being able to blend yourself into it good enough that the animals don’t know you’re even there. And then there’s also those guys who just live to kill everything in sight, I don’t consider those guys hunters myself, more exterminators.
Never hunted in my life. Want to, but what you're saying applies so much to fishing as well. I'm 31 and barely fished for the first time last year and I'm thinking to myself how the hell do people find this enjoyable lol. Mind you both times I've gone so far didn't catch jack shit so there's that. See Your from Minnesota, funny cuz my buddy from Minnesota is gonna take my ice fishing this winter. Hopefully i catch something!!
@@brownjatt21I'm from MN too, we got some great ice fishing! Every year we get family and friends on a coach bus (20-30 guys) to a resort on Lake of the Woods (that little top hat on Minnesota that goes into Canada). Sometimes I go on that trip and other times like last year I went on a secondary trip with just my father, Grandpa, 2 uncles, and 2 cousins. Still just as good. Slim's Resort always treats us well.
@@96Logan oh that's awesome boss. I told em about slims resort and if he's ever been up there to fish. He said Yea of course but he usually stays at rainy river which is right down the road. He mentioned he frequents Leech lake and Millie Lacs to ice fish. Believe he lives around Alexandria. Man he was telling me about those ice castles where you can fit a lot of people and it's damn near a house on the ice. My mind was absolutely blown to say the least. Just ice fishing in your living room is nuts 😂.
Michael literally called Theo a 2 year old and Caleb flat out said that Theo didn't deserve to get a turkey. he acted like a child the entire time. If someone is taking time out of their schedule to take you hunting, let alone one of the best turkey hunters in the nation, you shut up and enjoy your once in a lifetime opportunity. Don't complain the entire time and be sour. some of these famous people really have lost touch with reality.

The water was icy in the middle of winter. I was 12.
It probably has a lot to do with me being a girl.
I don’t do well in the cold.
Wet Louisiana cold is different.
It feels like razor blades cutting into your bones.
Add falling into icy water, and having to walk over an hour to get back to the camp so you can change.
I’m just not built for it.

City people crack me when hunting the first time. Without fail they are ready to go home after 2-3 hours. If they make it over 3 straight hours, then they will for sure go again.

I’ve done wild boar hunting in immokalee a few times. So much fucking fun. It is in the middle of bum fuck Everglades no where. But worth the drive if you find a host and your in Miami or broward or wherever.
Moral of the story, Don't waste your time on killing anything you can buy at Walmart.
