Great video. I noticed the tire did not align correctly on the backside. There were a little piece that was not attached correctly...look at the bottom of the wheel at 7:52.
Ya have to be careful, some tires compounds and trad patterns don't do well stretched, the sidewall protrudes and it just looks bad as well it can invert the contact patch giving you less traction. The hyraks are so soft it shouldn't be an issue but with some tires that isn't the case. It can be a good look in some cases, the 6x6 looks good. But most of the time, a rig is better off with matching rim and bead diameters
im thinking about doing the same for my trx6! thank you for this! do you think if i apply a super light coat of oil to the wheels itll help expedite the installation process of the tire?
It really helps to post links to the products your working with👍

Todd Bertram I agree, I just wanted a different look with this rig. Some tires aren’t meant to be stretched.
Very nice beadlocks my friend, a nice job to i like #7
I would have cut foam to fit the 2.2 center ring. and always use locktite..

Unstudded 6.0 I did not
This is a late reply, but may help future people.
I would use straight dish soap for lube when mounting.
@Guns N Gears what about the glue?
You said your using 2.2?but the link says 1.9... Also could you update link?
You’re supposed to put the screws in the bead lock before assembling the wheels
Have you got a link for the wheels please?

I watched till I heard "I buy everything off eBay" go to your local hobby shop!!
Unfortunately my hobby shops never carry what I need and most of the guys working there act like douches. I wish they would up their customer service.
