Get Your Very Own TRX6 Right here -@t Get the 6ch Radio Transmitter & Receiver We Now Use Here - www.banggood.com/custlink/mD33VJz8zU It's got a built in Gyro, ABS Braking, and a 500M Range For Under $30!
Looked like it was not even challenged by the crawling course till the very end. Very impressive, only mod I would have done differently is the motor. I would have used a holmes hobbies revolver outrunner motor.
Tires. Change the tires. We get a lot of requests for Proline Hyrax tires. A nice set of high mass alloy wheels would do some good as well. Would help to keep the weight as low as possible.
Loving this one thanks for sharing very important information giving thanks blessed love to all knowledge is power hopefully everyone pays attention keep up the good work 🙏🙏🙏🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲💪💪💪
Hi there. Nice video and rig. i have a question. Afters swappng the motor and esc do you lose the cruise controll function on the tqi transmitter? have a good one
Rich its better to use castle link to reverse motor, timing can efect the way its meant to run. Some friends have hurt the motors by just reversing with the rx.
Noted and all such advice very much appreciated, problem is I use a mac, so the only option open to me is to use a B--link which I do on the infraction, but not worth fitting that to this (given I'd not adjust much!). I know it says don't swap the leads with the sensored setup hence the TX/RX swp. This is not the first traxxas I've had to do it on (with castle) but thanks for the heads up on potential damage. It seemed to run well in the demo run but I'll keep an eye out for any 'odd' behaviour now you've mentioned it.
I have a Scout, and always wanted a TRX4 (Bronco or Blazer) for a trail truck and crawler. Now I'm really digging the TRX6. Do you think it would be worth it to get the Mercedes? I like it because it comes with a light kit, has 2.2 wheels, and just has a COOL factor to it.
Of note it's got 2.2 wheels but those tires are the same diameter as TRX4 ones! So the sidewall is stiffer and flexes less so I may change them out. I'm just fitting the rock lights tonight
I could do that course with a stock trx6. Theres no reason to make all of those changes. You basically gutted the thing and gained almost nothing. I would do the brass, tires and wheels and would be better than that truck in the video.

One of the most valuable RC channels on TH-cam! Keep up the great work.
Awesome tips. I did a climb with mine and got 57 with the stock setup. Great video.
I have the castle system bead lock wheels as well run in water and a high torque steering servo

No, the cruise control is in the receiver. You can change the Esc and motor and the cruise will still work.
@@sheldonisnumberone Thanks for clearing that up
Can’t wait to get a TRX-6!

the steering horn on my trx 6 gave out
Luis funny you should say that as last night I ordered an Aluminum one in case the stock one let go!
The servo, once the money is going to be spent, of 32kg !! .. in a technical descent, 20 kg falls short.
