- Part one of our visit to the Hurn Lane C&MCS in Burnham-On-Sea near Weston-super-mare. A lovely well maintained site close to the Berrow Beach. This part shows you the site, keep following to see part two which will show you more of the beach and beautiful area.

Not a lot to do, but great if you want a peaceful site to chill out on. If you have a car or a smaller unit and can move off site that's different, but we just had pedal bikes and it was a tad too hot to ride to Weston-super-mare which was the original plan.

I thought your trip was over. Did you manage to sneak another one in? One thing that a lot of campgrounds here don't have is places to wash dishes. These facilities and dunes look really nice. I hope you're surviving the heat, Dave.
Hi Christian, yeah because of the big jump in fuel costs here in the UK we decided against a road trip over to Europe this year; which has now given us the opportunity to get a few more trips here in. We have a long weekend in Cornwall booked now, but that's part of a bike meet too. We have been very impressed with what we have seen so far at these campsites, definitely changed from what it used to be like years back. You'll see more of the beach next week. I love the heat, working nights means it hard sleeping during the day, but it's much better working in the cool of the night.
