These videos came up in my feed. I don't really fucking care what people think I am, but refining my ideas of who I am I do find helpful. I enjoy social events, though--I do not care about reading. I do not care about being a leader, I've never wanted to climb the corporate ladder to be amongst even more vapid idiots, I really enjoyed watching that CEO get smoked, he was an asshole. I am a revolutionary, but not a leftist because commies are fools. All these weird dualities. Look, it's not that joyful being whatever the hell I am. I'm very strongly independent but it's also lonely at times because nobody gets me, they're just sort of afraid or dislike me for whatever reasons. And yet, I'm very successful in life--family & wealth, so not like autistic types at all.
It's easy to know for sure. If you are one of the people who took an experimental and mostly untested treatment, that was labeled as a vaccine, for a disease you already had a 99.98 per cent chance of surviving (if you even caught it), you can quit wondering. You're not a Sigma male.

Sorry if you thought you were a "sigma male"and therefore offended that I pointed out how silly it is, but you're not, you're one of a billion basic beeches who feel special when you read a zodiac column at the grocery store
I'll share my peak sigma story, during the medical theatre a few years ago in England. I didn't change a step, take a penny or give one, I'm still yet to meet anyone else that can claim that. One night I was out walking the dog in the deserted streets, slowly people coming outside and start standing on their doorsteps. I'm confused for a second, then figured it must be something the TV has told them again. A minute later I'm on the next street and its the same, people standing and waiting. The clock strikes 8 and the tin pot dictatorship orchestra start whacking pans and cheering. A true twilight zone operation, it still cracks me up to think about it. I like to think they were cheering me for just going about my business and not they're own enslavement.
I hope you’re not implying the banging of pot’s was for something other than when you’re walking the dog as I’ll feel foolish and will stop. Otherwise see you at 8
"Wow, this video really nails it! Sigma males truly have a unique approach to life, and it's so interesting to see how different they are from the majority. The point about avoiding unnecessary drama really resonated with me-it’s so refreshing to see people focus on what truly matters instead of getting caught up in trivial things. Also, the way sigma males value their independence while still being capable of forming meaningful connections is so inspiring. I think this video really highlights qualities we can all learn from. Great content and so well explained! 🙌
I like small tall not because it's what you should do, but I like to sharpen my social skills. It's like metal training to get rid of social anxiety. Plus I like approaching girls and having a conversation with them lol
It's not that I don't care what people think. Life has taught me that people aren't thinking about me at all. 😂 As long as I'm not in their way, what do they care? Oftentimes, "caring" is usually an indicator that the person is a manipulator. They want to modify my behavior to suit their agenda. No thank you.
Well, as a Sigma male (and a professional scientist working in Biotech during my entire career), I would say you’ve *nailed* the key values and attributes that characterize a Sigma male. As an example, i’d much rather be at home during an evening studying theoretical physics (and enjoying the company of my two adopted cats), than being out at a bar drinking with some friends.
I am, and have always been a Sigma, I , at 51 have built a life that I love. I need validation from absolutely no one. I stand back and look at my work and decide if it is worthy or not. It always is before I reveal it. The Ceator endowed me with this and it is often a very lonely path but I find beauty and peace in the solace.
The funniest part of this, is the comments section being filled with people who think they're a sigma now, ..when they're not. They're basically just thinkng or saying they are so they can feel or appear to be "different" or more interesting than they actually are. .. the ones who comment "this is SO.. me!" .. it's not.
Precisely. Sigmas don’t care what others think - true . However neither do they feel the need to outlandishly state who they are to others, especially on the anonymous web, for they are aware of who they are without seeking any sort of validation either from others ( even anonymously ) or for themselves by making such loud self affirmative statements . Acting contrary to this , even just with typed words on the anonymous web, is contrary to the path of a sigma and therefore you cannot truly call yourself one. Never ever say ( I’m a Sigma ) anywhere to anyone otherwise you are surely NOT what you state you are. Any Sigma should know this and any Sigma wouldn’t bother to announce it - as it is worthless on its own.
I live in a van off grid and haven't held a formal job for years now. Do I qualify? I have a loving girlfriend and I do word of mouth appliance repair. Plenty of friends and no obligations beyond my cell bill and car insurance. Spend most days alone.
One social norm that I've always scratched my head about is the tie. Why do people have to wear ties? I hate them. They are uncomfortable, and I don't see why I should wear one just because it is expected.
They are prerequisite for Masons. Ties are chivaric pennants. Top is blue with spots. Purple with spots Chevron ties are officers. Anyone else is a wannabe yet to be asked or rejectsvthat dont know they did not pas the test. Masonic halls are nolonger the main place if business. Go to golf courses. They play in fours, interchange do business. Tuesdays, Wednesdays Thursdays are for lawyers, accountants and proffesional services Friday and Saturday for hoi palloi. Sunday is open slather and Monday is for retirees. I might be wrong. I wore ties for 20 years. Was a green keeper for 6.
As a little boy I would say hello to everyone walking by. My mother would tell me that I didn't need to say hello to everyone. I wasn't looking to make friends with everyone that walked by, I was looking to find a friendship with someone special, someone like me. I have always been a different cat...I realized this early in life. Now I understand why...I don't really like people, the shallow nature of those who set their metric based on material or monetary value. Means absolutely nothing to me and I honestly steer clear of these types of people intentionally. My circle is small...just yhe the eay I like it. I am content in my authenticity...which is a meaning not an adjective.
alpha, beta, sigma, etc… is mainstream rubbish that has genuinely nothing to do with humans, at all. at best its pop psych. psychology derived from feedback that a group of animal behaviorist discovered to be true when studying a pack of wolves in captivity back in the late sixties.
It is important to realise that Sigma is just a label and does not encapsulate the entirety of a person, their potential & how they may change and adapt depending on the contexts within their lives and the lives of others. We are impermanent in our evolving nature & as useful as these labels can be as a reference to attributes characteristics, beliefs & mentalities it does not completely express the unlimited depths of our growth. I completely relate to this video & I would agree that I fit the "label" of being a Sigma, however knowing this is a label that cannot encapsulate me or anyone in their entirety is important to recognise as we may limit our mindset to be too rigid in defining ourselves. It is important to balance labels for reference with your ongoing unknown potential & adaptability within this reality. If you find anything this video has said or anything anyone else has said useful in this comment section then I ask that you pay it forwards 👍
As a 7 year old I used to think through an analogy whether it was better to be a tree in a forest or a lone tree. Things like crowding out light, forest fires, exposure to the elements.... these individualistic traits are innate.
The more I see the sigma articles the more I know I am one however I do look forward to the weekend because those are my fun projects I mean I always have something to do so I have my money making things I do during the week and then the money I make then I get to spend it on the my hobbies that I love on the weekend so it's really fun I have a really great life and you're right I'm not big on parties and all that silliness
Does anyone, like me, find themselves thinking "yes, I've done those things fairly often" yet also "no, this doesn't fully describe me". For instance: I was always the kid in school who would get himself into trouble for disagreeing with the teacher when she wanted comformist kids who said "yes, we enjoyed that miss". I always found small talk difficult when trying to form relationships. It was like "hey, I have a ton of really interesting things we could talk about, so why are we sticking to the vapid dross?" But on the other hand, I'm very gregarious and actually like big crowds of people. And I'm not completely self sufficient by any means. Rather than the "I'll go my own way, you can all go another" I'm more likely to say "why on earth are you all still going this way?" Perhaps - using the 16 personalities languages - I am "ENTP": the debater, whereas a signma is "INTP" - the logician.
I can relate, being sometimes extroverted, and sometimes wanting to keep to myself. I don't so much fit in any crowd or scene, but enjoy exploring many scenes, as long as conformity isn't mandatory. Also more an intuitive ENFP type, adept at analysis, but more inclined to trust and go with my gut.
Sigma's follow Kaizen, we are always looking for better ways to improve things.Even if that means throwing conventions away and starting with a blank sheet of paper. Never get stuck in groupthink or a knodding donkey mindset. Gather data, analyze , develop options, select best option based on desired outcome or objective.
Is Sigmas are more powerful than the Alphas. Because they still require a sense of validation, acceptance and conformity from others. Sure, they may have physical attributes such as height, muscular build and athleticism which gives them their sense of superiority over what they would deem to be betas, but they tend to be very insecure inside and can’t live without attention. I’ll admit I was a beta male at one point, but these alphas won’t dare to even look me in the eye anymore. I don’t even have to raise my voice or my fists, I let my eyes, my confident aura and energy speak for themselves. That is true power.
I fit the sigma empath, but according to some adding a comment on here says I'm not. I do find most people boring, wth small talk, sucking up, throwing you under the bus to get a brownie point, and believing exactly what they're told, and gossip merchants, and not wanting awards or brownie points, I'm happy I don't fit in !

Love this clip, but that escalator example is completely ridiculous. People us escalators just because everyone else does? Or one of many logical reasons they cant/wont/dont want to use the stairs instead?
Even as a kid I said people were like sheep in big groups all following each other. Back and forth. Over and over again. And again. Trying to follow along in grade school made me sick to my stomach. It never changes when you get older either. Do things like the common sheep and fit in and be popular but miserable or go your own way and be dammed with conformity and being at peace. I live within the laws but I don't live within any rules.
Somewhat confronting. When i used to commute daily for school. Took the stairs and internally shook my head when seeing full escalators. Escalators are made to walk on. In prague people, except few tourists go on one side on escalator, its a norm. So another line is free to walk even faster. Solution found by self aligbement. Who wants to 'fit in'......especially to the shallow, inane 'conformity' that is the modern world. I'm happy in the extreme being a true sigma. Make your own choices and do your own thing....the only way to live...at least for me. This vid is pretty much accurate. Thanks .
i don't take the escalator, because i have a pair of working legs.
Here comes the never ending parade of people thinking they are sigma males lol
😂
And trying the best for likes in comments.
@BS-Fact-checker who, you? I simply said what I think. Tf would I care about 14 likes on yoube for.
Cringe
I hope you’re not implying the banging of pot’s was for something other than when you’re walking the dog as I’ll feel foolish and will stop. Otherwise see you at 8
Yup, and then they voted labour 😆😉
Didn't subscribe to that phoney baloney for one minute, what a pile of hypocrisy!
Medical theater?
I like to hold the 2x down and pretend Ben Shapiro is commentator.
Apparently I've been this way since I was around 15. I always thought I was just lacking confidence or self esteem
Amen to that Bigdog868. The world is full of manipulators.
Excellent insight. Thank you!
My pleasure!
The funniest part of this, is the comments section being filled with people who think they're a sigma now, ..when they're not.
They're basically just thinkng or saying they are so they can feel or appear to be "different" or more interesting than they actually are.
.. the ones who comment "this is SO.. me!"
.. it's not.
🤣
I feel so sigma!!!11!!1

One social norm that I've always scratched my head about is the tie. Why do people have to wear ties? I hate them. They are uncomfortable, and I don't see why I should wear one just because it is expected.
It's a leash...
@@mjolnirswrath23 I vow never to wear a tie.

No real sigma would call himself a sigma. This isn't 2021 anymore. 😂😂😂😂
alpha, beta, sigma, etc… is mainstream rubbish that has genuinely nothing to do with humans, at all. at best its pop psych. psychology derived from feedback that a group of animal behaviorist discovered to be true when studying a pack of wolves in captivity back in the late sixties.
After they all took the jab, we’re the last true humans.
Stay strong truebloods!
"Draw attention effortlessly." Not always a good thing.
Cool to see a video on "sigma males" that actually has some substance to it
This is SO true....
If you find anything this video has said or anything anyone else has said useful in this comment section then I ask that you pay it forwards 👍
yeah i think not using the elevator is kind of a stretch
I always thought that I did not belong here and wondered where I came from, now I know the label applied to that feeling.
This fits me well. Never knew i was a Sigma but im good with it
As a 7 year old I used to think through an analogy whether it was better to be a tree in a forest or a lone tree.
Facts! I agree with this entirely ❤
You described my life.
My favorite philosopher is Macheaveli.
I probably read his book before I was born.

This guy is good!
It was like "hey, I have a ton of really interesting things we could talk about, so why are we sticking to the vapid dross?"
But on the other hand, I'm very gregarious and actually like big crowds of people. And I'm not completely self sufficient by any means.
Rather than the "I'll go my own way, you can all go another" I'm more likely to say "why on earth are you all still going this way?"
Perhaps - using the 16 personalities languages - I am "ENTP": the debater, whereas a signma is "INTP" - the logician.
I can't say I never fit in, I chose to find places and work that valued my traits
It's not only 'why'. Quite often it's the 'why not'.
I am sorry i screamed...they want to know. WHY you woke up this morning?!.. 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😅😅😅😅🤣🤣🤣
Validation isn’t a modern desire it’s been one since the beginning…it’s what is validated that has changed
Instead of going on spring break I put the $1000 into stocks....1984. 40 yrs later it's worth $233,000.
Opinion: Alphas are also (probably) more prone to sociopathy, due to the inherent narcissism associated with the need for validation.
All checks out, except I'd change cannot to do not.
Those who make statements that Sigmas don’t comment are not Sigmas. They’re envious.
@@DanO_DanOI came here to make the same point as you 🤝
@@DanO_DanOthat depends on the intent of the original post. Certainly a “sigma” wouldn’t jump to conclusions, without consideration of that. So a blanket statement, by you, or the other party, seems out of alignment with the whole “sigma” thing.
Glass houses.
We all live in glass houses, I ask the question is there such a thing as a Sigma, or is this a lable, which is a contradiction anyway.
Everyone has their own journey. Many people will cross our paths. But still in the end, you alone must walk your own path.
I use to live for the weekend between 1980s-and late 1990s in my 20s and 30s. I've did have fun go to the cinemas enjoy youth. as time pass my focus become clear of what that i love the most, with the hobby i do, i love to create new things and to be a lone wolf that i am. making me realize over time why should i fallower the norm. even i was a young boy, i never did fallow the rule of society that want us to be. Yes rules are important, and this is important to help as a team alone with sigma who can help out
I don't know why I have this personality, I don't even try. People think it strange but i feel completely normal. Is it me or them?
It's them. It's definitely them.
#1 and #3 struck home for me to be honest i don't care what anyone thinks seeking validation has never been my thing or fitting in from day one it was my mom dad and sister vs me i got treated badly for liking heavy metal comic books and horror films and i still don't regret it i will leave my life they way i desire #sigmamalepower

As a possible Sigma I find weather a deep and significant subject .😊
A sigma male knows if you wake up it's a good day. Even when the world s*** we still know we're alive it's a good day. And most people cannot look at the world that way. Holy Spirit of Humanity we love life and it drives us nuts to you humans don't realize this.
Can confirm. Cannot conform.
Its funny. Whenever I make a comment on Reddit or YT or wherever that is unpopular, the number of people that ridicule me for downvotes or lack of upvotes as some kind of a mark of failure. Its a constant reminder of what sheep people are. I said my piece and thats my only motivation.
I am a true Sigma and it scares me being alone for my whole life and the only few people I put in my life is a hardest thing to do

You accomplished your mission and moved on to the next one.
@charleshairston4853 yes but it was more about the fact that I didn't care if everyone was laughing, the external validation did nothing for me
Shoutout to all Sigma office workers in the UK with majority English colleagues that have learnt not to listen. You’re not alone! 😂

There nothing wrong going to a bar if the music has soul and you love to dance
Well done. Actually you have the order of events wrong though. First we reject the norm. Then with "proper arguments" we will accept it if it makes sense. But it isn't the peferred outcome. First we will reject all norms and they have to fight to make it into our list of things we are willing to do.

Sigmas are rare, especially these days in our crazy world... :'(
I don't know if I'm "sigma" or even if that's really a thing but I have some of these characteristics and it only caused me grief, especially at work, my resistance to BS conformity never seemed to inspire others but rather make then annoyed. Life would have been easier if I wasn't this way but I really had no choice.
Well said. What sigma describes is an INTJ, and life as an INTJ is hardly blissful.
So i am surprised about this stuff and how well defined we are crazy i felt that I kept everything under wraps im my own person but crazy to see you are all like me tho
No to small talk and all other forms of pleasantries. Never do anything "just because." For a reason such as "just because," I'd rather read a book, watch a movie or run thought experiments in my head or with a friend.
Sigma do like socializing with selected group when he felt that he is not that smart or dangerous from them.
Sigma, Autistic, same difference. I'm content doing my own thing. What everone else does doesn't interest me.
Same thing? Please explain. 😮
@gregorypeterson9 The personality traits of a level 1 Autistic person are nearly identical to those of a Sigma personality. Thus, same difference.
Somewhat confronting. When i used to commute daily for school. Took the stairs and internally shook my head when seeing full escalators.
Escalators are made to walk on. It's to get you to the next floor, Faster.
*the irony is, they are seemingly always in a rush. Because they never wait for people to get out before it's their turn to get in.
And i never am. For always taking 1 train too "early".
**Pragmatism. It Can, make it so that you'll be perceived as frigid and arrrogant.
In prague people, except few tourists go on one side on escalator, its a norm. So another line is free to walk even faster. Solution found by self aligbement. People here dont care but at the same time keep checking others not to stand in a way. Thats something which fascinates me about society here.
Question yourself firstly... then ask do others fit with your ethos...
I knew there was a reason why, I would rather type Laugh out Loud Rather then lol
Or even say “ haha “ , or “ Laughing abundantly “ , or something of that nature. . Because the acronym “ lol “ is for shallow girls and men who don’t act like men.
Is it ok to say lol out loud with a straight face during a conversation? 😉
Me all the eay😂😂❤
I always tell my kids, "Dont do as I do. Do what I say." Does this make me a Sigma? 😄
When I was much younger, I was a public servant for a few years. It wasn't a bad job. Easy, paid well, could see a bright future in it. But it just wasn't me. Public servants are all the same, they dress the same, think the same. To succeed you have to be one of ''them''.
I left and took up farming. I like working alone, doing my own thing, not giving a damn what others might think. I feel very comfortable following my instinct, I'm always right. I was even married once to a woman who's chatter was like a gossip magazine. I never say much myself unless it's important. I'm very good at solving mechanical problems, effortlessly, so I became a diesel mechanic by trade.
I love brilliant colours. I hate the white and various greys and silvers to black that everything seems to be these days. Especially cars and house interiors. I saw a flat grey Ferrari the other day. Why would you bother?
I don't care to be one of the mob. I'm comfortable standing apart alone. I don't like to draw attention to myself. If you don't notice me....good.
Isn’t it weird that all males seem to fit into 3 categories? WTF
This is meant in sarcasm; I think the labeling of people is ridiculous, just utter stupidity
I suppose I would take the escalator.... Cause I'm too lazy to walk up the stairs.... But I don walk down up escalators for convience.
In my informative years, I was led by the Mustard Seed
Is this channel making the same video over and over? And when did this sigma stuff start lol? It was always intp or adjacent personality types or are we done with myers Briggs?
