Focus on the process, not the goal. One step at a time. The only way to eat an elephant is one bite at a time.
Anxiety and excitement. They both have same feeling. You label them as anxiety as its the thing that you want and manifesting. The greatest fear is not the fear of failure but the fear of success. I sometimes feel terrible for making so much money on my investment. The feeling that I don't deserve. I think its our subconscious programing by our family and friends that money is evil. I call that bullshit. Hope you enjoy your journey!!!

Hi @Alissa Rose - do you create a basic template for your description, and then update it as required? I've seen this technique now where people will put all of this information on their site, but I assume that you don't do a new page long description with all of these links from scratch each time? So many people have toutube channels dedicated to teaching etsy stuff but don't have shops themselves. And your shop, it's AMAZING!
Why do you find it important for people to have their own personal shops before teaching others how to do it?
Would you trust a doctor who only talks about surgery or one that actually performs surgery?
That is so true Alissa! So many people teach but don’t actually do what they teach. That’s one test people looking to start something online must be wary of.

Hi Alissa! Thanks for this video. I wanna open an Etsy shop about printable wall art. Do you think, it's better to offer files in PdF or JPG? Besides, is it ok to offer only paypal or is it necessary to offer other ways of payment? Thanks for your reply in advance.
Hi Tina, Regarding PDF vs JPG, I would do competitor research to see what they are offering. Can you offer both? Regarding payments, I've never tested just offering to use Paypal vs. using all payment method, so I can't tell you from experience. I would assume you'd want to offer as many ways to pay as possible though.

I talk about wordpress themes in this video: th-cam.com/video/AICQRW0-ldQ/w-d-xo.html - you can drive traffic with Etsy SEO, Pinterest, Content Marketing, Email Marketing, (ads when you're ready), and... other strategies too. Finding out who you want to serve is a mix of research (regarding demand) and who you want to help, as the creator/business owner.

I didn't know Sandra was one of your students. That makes sense. I watch you both after recent discovery. I'm currently working on my Etsy shop hoping to open soon, jotted down a bunch of notes and checking them off slowly. It's a lot of work but it's good that I enjoy it either way. Does your thank you cards make more or does your digital course make more money??
The course makes more money because of the price you can charge for something like a course. I COULD have decided to grow my business a different way, such as VOLUME over VALUE. Instead of scaling my business by growing out my Etsy shop with resource digital products I scaled my business by creating a digital course. Great question! I actually meant to address this in the video!

Hey there! Thanks for watching! If you want to experiment with digital products I don't think you need to open up an entirely new shop. A new shop could be a lot of work especially if you're not certain about the direction you're going in with your digital products. If you ARE sure what digital products you want to create and the target audience for these digital products is entirely different than your beer t-shirt business I would then start a new shop (if it's the same target audience, keep the same shop). Hi! I have an iPad Pro with Apple Pencil and I also have the Procreate app, I am a good artist and I am very good at editing and digital work in general. I really want to have a successful Etsy store and I’ve tried selling some digital things on Etsy but it didn’t seem like a huge success to me, but I still don’t want to lose hope and want to start over, so can you suggest me what should I do, or anything in general? :)
Get clarity on who your stickers are for, figure out what those people want, give that to them. Boom 💥 successful business.
