I had my corolla 1.8 Litre 125PS stock vehicle fitted with LPG kit. there was a visible difference in power. Petrol was more powerful. the mileage in both petrol and lpg was almost same. but fortunately the lpg price was around 35rs. Initial torque was also affected. The kit was lovatto.

It depends on the product and the unit! Btw lpg prices arent great now so its better to spend no money on kits

I am using LPG kit on my 2006 alto since 2010 and never faced any issues. It clocked over 130000km . Just doing the regular maintenance . Only issue is there is only one filling station in kottayam.

Cng have octane value 120-125, much higher than lpg, (just a correction)

Also compared to LPG Torodial Tank (33Liter) of gas can be filled and placed in the spare wheel well so boot space is not compromised. LPG Tank is very light compared to CNG and goes about 250-300kms depending on the vehicle as compared to 120-150kms on CNG.
