we need to be in thoughtless awareness, in meditation. The central channel, sushumna nadi is the channel of our evolution and in which the kundalini rises up the spine and unites our awareness with the cosmic vibrations (parachaitanya). If we keep swinging from left to right channel (ego to superego), we stay at a mental level. We must be in thoughtless awareness for the kundalini to rise past our agnya chakra and out of the sahastrara chakra. Any mental activity about past and the future will spoil our pure vibrations. Ida nadi (tamas) and pingala nadi (rajas) in their pure state give us the feeling of pure joy and actions performed by the will of God. In their pure state the kundalini can rise up the central channel (sushumna) and self realisation can be achieved :-) learn more about self realisation in Sahaja Yoga
Can't we just realize that this conditioning of the mind is not us? I ask because at times that is exactly what I do realize; that these states of mind/consciousness are not really me. They are only states of mind that has been conditioned by past experiences, culture, genetics, etc. When I stay detached and aware of this conditioning I experience my true Self which just is. But when I become involved in interacting with the world I am absorbed into the mind and I am no longer aware of the conditioned mind but rather I become the conditioned mind. Then I will take a step back from everything and once again I realize that I am something beyond the conditioned mind/the gunas. As things are the only way I could live in awareness is to not get involved with the world, to simply be the observer of the world. From what I understand I need to grow into being able to interact with the world and to stay aware even as I am involved with the daily affairs of life. I would appreciate some feed back if that is possible. Thank you.
gems! pearls of wisdom! hari om tat sat 🙏🏻💛
