This is why some ppl like me play 3 tour guide to take lilith out of the deck but don't use them as materials to do anything, as lilith despite having the effects negated by tour can still "spell speed 4" tribute monsters wich is usually a much better interruption than link 2/rank 3 xyz have. Sorry for the poem, but I thoung it would be usefull as I think this is one of the most important mechanics lair players can abuse.
Yep, tribute as cost sending your opponents monsters is a unique effect the lair of darkness has! Hopefully more support comes out to be more like Lilith 🙂
Couple of inquiries/suggestions to test out: Have you thought of Chimerafflesia in the extra deck as a way to try to fetch out Super Poly? I use it as a Dogmatika Punishment target. Dark Honest has been a nice piece of work for my build, granted it's a Ties build that also utilizes the Droll/Reincarnation combo
Chimera is a great idea to fetch super poly but the format is too early I wasn’t so sure what we should include for the ED but it’s a great idea! I think the deck can pivot away from the ties combo now that we have Alice for a more pure build :) I try for more consistency for my builds and I wanted to maximize the search-ability for the whole deck ☺️
Did you consider running a small artifact engine? The trap is searchable with Lilith and is therefore really likely to see 1st turn. If used to special summon scythe your opponent is just locked from his extra deck, not being able to do a lot. Also what exactly does small world do? Reading it over and over but just don't quite get it. Also, have you tried levianieer with melody? If you have a good hand, you can rob your opponent 2 cards from their hand 1st turn alongside with an interrupt like artifact scythe.
I have played with the artifact engine multiple times but decided against it as it was always a consistency issue but if I played DPE, then it’s kinda mandatory to play Small world basically says: take 1 card from your hand, match a single trait with another card from your deck, and then match another single trait with the second card with a 3rd one to add it to your hand - it’s hands down my favorite card in the game Levianeer is cool in theory but the deck really shines when it is a trap focus build 😁
I just started playing this deck. Try using "tyrants temper" the "malefic stardust dragon". I like the dragon. This deck has alot of low attack so the dragons a 2500 that protects field spells. And can special summon him very easy.
Malefic Stardust also. Plus you can search out Starlight Road and Assault Mode Activate because there both normal traps, making Assault Stardust Dragon a amazing main deck boss monster.
What do you think of using more of the danger engine and darkworld? Triple trade-in and having access to some real aggression while using the right virus for the match up? Probably not optimal but running an odd list in master duel that is doing pretty well into plat.

Ties build not that necessary with the new Alice card, but it is still good :) I recently vlogged my locals featuring this build VS the meta and did really well and almost topped! Never once did I wish I had tour guide considering I can just search her with small world 😁

Lord is a great card I just haven’t been able to figure out what I would swap out to include it in the deck So I just stuck with pure and consistency cards ☺️
No replays as I mostly have been playing master duel and playing IRL games at a very high competitive local scene with everyone on meta and 50+ attendees
Honestly, with skill drain and The fieldspell lord is not so super important... It can search spells and traps but lilith does the same. So it's kinda not needed.. it lord would defend the fieldspell i would play it but so
@@gillygabyte i tested a bit around with Chaos space and the wyverns to go into heratic seal wich can search and set up diabolus.. great way into the game. Honestly i think Imperm is pretty important in this deck on 3.. in the grind game it could happen you run out of gas for lilith and she cant tribute without targets in deck

I’ve always been a big fan of pure besides it’s either play lair of darkness with lady of laments and traps or cut them entirely and play the ogdoadics New lady of lament support just came out and it’s pretty good too
Most people don't even run Diablos because he's kind of a brick most people run Heavenly prison instead and with that new Labyrinth archetype that's coming out people will use Lilith and a lot of the lair of Darkness stuff but not lair because the new field spell is like better 4 recursion
Diabolos can be a small world bridge, also do I rarely ever brick with it. In a simplified game state especially with skill drain active, you’re going to win as it is very hard to outplay the 3k beat stick :)
@@Carnidoom that's what I thought too that's why I wouldn't play diabolus he's really bricky he doesn't do anything in the first few turns of the duel he's only like a late dule card when you're already winning

1 question : why you don't play tour guide? I play tour guide at 3 + ties of breathen for easy search.

Lair is really hard to play right now with the flooding of DPE everywhere. they just rip it off the field in the first turn
Luckily DPE is less splashable since the banlist indirectly hit it 😁

You’ll have to wait until it’s release unfortunately as the card is one of a kind with the ability to search almost any monster in the game
How about you replace 1 starving venom for a mudragon of the swamp just in case you go againts a deck that doesnt have dark monsters
Not a bad idea but I honestly get the field spell so regularly it’s not that necessary but that would be nice to have :)
I'm looking at this as a fang of critias deck utilizing the virus card's
