I am a person who had worked for over 2 years in Canada and I had to come back. From the day I landed to this day, I have done everything I can to come back to that dream country. Me and my wife have put in a lot of hard work and effort, but sadly nothing positive came around. So when you talk about hardship, you should take into consideration that there are a lot of people who are working and doing everything they can to come to Canada or any other country, but it doesn't happen because luck doesn't fall into their hands. You guys are just lucky!

This link will help you understand the minimum scores required: www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/documents/language-requirements/language-testing.html However our personal suggestion would be to aim for the maximum score for IELTS. The higher it is, the higher the chances for getting an invitation for PR. And that is what Shihas was getting to - 8,7,7,7 (L, R, W, S) for different section in IELTS. From what I recall that should be CLB 9 and overall IELTS 8. This score gives the maximum points for Express Entry. And the link helps you understand the minimum IELTS points.
