    I am a great fan of the country kitchen concept. This is a boat for the owner, not charter. It's comfortable casual, not formal. Not a fan of no Helm except on the fly bridge. If you enclose the fly bridge, with the interior stairs, problem solved.

      @YachtAddiction  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I agree this is perfect for someone who wants a casual and comfortable ownership experience. Not every yacht will be ultra modern or exquisite. I believe you can enclose the flybridge with plastic screens to protect it from the weather some. But one helm is definitely something a potential owner should consider before purchasing.

    Nice looking boat. I do like the more casual country kitchen set up (as I love to cook and would want to see and be seen while cooking). I wish we got a look at the bow- I don't see that here.

      Sorry about the lack of bow footage. I normally include that in the tour. Thanks for watching!

    Paying 4.1 million it looks like you would get at least one washer/dryer set and a inside helm! 🤔

    • @YachtAddiction
      @YachtAddiction  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      There is a washer and dryer at the landing by the guest cabins I just didn’t show them. But yes you definitely have to be comfortable with only having the one helm station.

  • @Squirel

    Very nice boat and I really like the attention paid to the crew quarters by the designer. Not much use in colder climates though with only one (quite exposed) helm station.

    • @YachtAddiction
      @YachtAddiction  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I always like seeing a roomy and nicely finished crew area. The single helm is definitely unique and it’s something you need to consider before purchasing. I think you can install clear screens to close off the area but it isn’t the same as a fully enclosed helm. Thanks for watching!

    Nice boat! My preferences are the 150'+ size, but this is really nice for an 80'. The open kitchen and crew quarters are well done. The only three things I think I'd change are (1) the cedar closets, (2) the transparent door to the master head and (3) the non-tinted glass to the electrical panels (although that might look nice at night).
    For the video, I do wish we were shown the bow and what the ladder at 8:30 led to (I'm assuming radar/satellites, but we didn't get any look at them).

    • @YachtAddiction
      @YachtAddiction  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You could definitely make those changes if necessary. Sorry about the lack of bow footage! I normally capture the bow but didn’t on this one for some reason. Also you are correct that ladder leads up to the radar, horns, etc.

    I love yachts like this, a great mix of modern design while also keeping it very classic in terms of wood choice and colors. Will age very well.

    Thanks for the tour. This one seems better suited for older folks with the glossy wood and farm kitchen. Also would prefer larger windows, but this would do well in various climates I presume

    What a gorgeous boat! I like that it keeps the same standard of fit and finish throughout the boat. But I don't see laundry service in your video. Perhaps it's under the stair of the lower deck although there's plenty space in the crew quarter to accommodate one.

    • @YachtAddiction

  • @bryduhbikeguy
    @bryduhbikeguy 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    It would be nice as a 'live-aboard'.You could travel with the weather year round.I just wish it carried more fuel so stops,or running into ports,wouldn't be needed as frequent.They seem to have dismissed the huge space under the forward cabin as useful for storage,like luggage,or a chest freezer that's accessible easily.I very much like this otherwise.

    The kitchen is awesome, another great eps bro

  • @alisavas9526
    @alisavas9526 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Brand spanking new boat but it looks like my grandma's house from the 60's inside! It's a matter of taste of course but the decor looks very dated to me. Lack of inside helm is not acceptable & dangerous at best! The kitchen area is disproportionately huge in comparison with the overall size & feel of the boat but I like it very much! The crew quarters are amazing, which can be used as overflow guest cabin when i.e. the boat is in berth and there's no overnight crew onboard! In Europe, this boat would have a normal size galley, definitely an inside helm and 1 extra crew berth. The fly bridge looks unfinished. It needs something on the floor to go with the rest of the boat. The tour was great as usual, really enjoyed it.

  • @tecwzrd
    @tecwzrd 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Not bad but not great either. So many options in the 80 foot range. Personally for a million more I'd get the Sirena 88. Thanks for the tour though :)

    • @YachtAddiction
      @YachtAddiction  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think the 75-90 foot range is ultra competitive with all the options available. This one would be great for someone looking for something warm and comfortable. It’s a great family yacht. I’m trying to tour some Sirena yachts in the future!

    • @tecwzrd
      @tecwzrd 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@YachtAddiction 100% agree about a family yacht to do light cruising in the Med or Bahamas, my only real beef is the paltry 500 NM range at cruising speed, however on megayachtnews it mentioned you can squeeze 1,500 NM if dropping to 11 knots which is better. The country kitchen is always a welcome sight but only having a topside helm is not favorable. Hope you can tour some Sirena Yachts in the future, they are one of my favorites.

    It's a beauty but there is no indoor helm station which can be rough out in the elements for long periods of time.

    • @YachtAddiction
      @YachtAddiction  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      That’s definitely something to consider before buying. I believe you can put up plastic screening on the flybridge to close it off but it’s not the same as a completely indoor helm station.

    Great tour as usually 😃 but I am not sure about the yacht. In my opinion, she looks like from the late 80s or 90s. For 1 million less, a buyer could get a new Cranchi 78 Settantotto and even a new Princess x80 would be less. The Johnson looks like some of those bus like US caravans with aged interieur, even they are new. :-(

    • @YachtAddiction
      @YachtAddiction  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The interior on this one seems to be polarizing for many. But if purchasing new you can make plenty of changes in the decor. The 70-90 foot yacht size is extremely competitive with lots of great models to choose from!

    • @mareewalker1096
      @mareewalker1096 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No way will the new x80 from princess be in this price range! The x95 is 11 million! The x80 will be around 7 to 8 million! But I agree this yacht is horrible ! But for this price you would only get a princess f62 with some change! The next model up is the y72 that would be around 5 million! Then the y 78 around 6.5 million then the y85 that's my favorite around 8 to 9million! Princess are not cheap but you get what you pay for! This boat is quiet cheap for it's size! Cranchi are a cheap Italian builder! Not saying they are no good but they are on the cheaper price range! The cranchi 78 is there largest model! They mainly build smaller vessels!! Happy sailing all ⚓🛥

    Poor Value for the price. $4.2M,,,one helm, not enclosed. Water maker? Tender? Washer Dryer?
    Garbage disposal? Etc. Etc.- For the same money you can get TWO Silent Yachts 55 all solar cats. Second owner will pay $2.5M in three years.

    One of the most disappointing new boats I’ve seen. The interior design already looks old and out dated. The formal dining, as you call it, is a joke. Formal dining does not include slide around booth seating. Color selections, viewed from the camera, are not pleasing to the eye. I instantly hated the chairs placed in front of the main entry. Everyone know that you don’t do that. The designer, who I am certain is a fine individual, simply blew it on the boat. Extremely disappointing.

    • @rickmcneal1660

      I didn't mind the interior, I was just surprised at the location of the helm controls. That's a fair weather boat.
