My great, great, uncle was 22 signed up in March 1915 and was sent to the cove and passed away 7 months after joining. His younger brother, my great grandfather served in ww2 and survived to have my grandmother in 1944 while on leave from duty. My uncle served in the Navy for 45 years and my cousin is now a commander in the navy protecting our borders. Today means a lot to me, thank you to all who serverd and continue to serve today.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them. Lest We Forget

Lest we forget!
Reminds me of Chillingbourne in 1944.
wear a sprig of Rosemary today in remembrance
Lest we forget
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
Lest We Forget
