About "choosing if it's worth to die or not at this moment" I find that it is often overlooked. Guys seem to forget the respawn timer and when I'm 5 minutes into a match and see half my team already at 2+ death each, I kinda feel like we'll get overwhelmed at some point soon enough.
So true, When I press 'tab' to see the info screen and see a player with 5 deaths, I'm like "Wth, so much bots nowadays, ...wait a minute, that's my no.of deaths , Whoops "

Them blocking paid services in Russia despite MyGames being a russian company was what finally made me uninstall, i could no longer defend the game after that last straw.
Guys! A noob here... So i started playing this some 7-8 days ago.. And reached level 70 or something... It was just before the season update... But after the update... I am not able to use my better units( purple ones) in pvp and also the special limited units(bserkers and iron reapers)... Also my siege battle rank is showing green-1 instead of blue-11 as it was... So what's the problem. Am I missing something??
at the start of the season, all players can only use max tier 3 (blue) units, in like a week or 2 purple will be unlocked and in another 2 weeks gold will be aviable again.... the level that shows like blue 11 was your rank within the season,, as this is a new season, you start again at green 1
Wow 1 week and already level 70. Glad you enjoy the game. The season lock is a fairly new mechanic they invented to force you to play max blue tier units, then max purple and then the second half of the season you can play gold stuff. It wasn't around when I started playing in late season 6. You will be able to get your purple units fairly soon. In the meantime you can go complete seasonal challenges from all seasons. You can uses this time where no one has good units to ramp up insane hero and unit kills and battles and unlock stuff like stalwarts from season 5- upgraded version of spear sergeants which are 1 of the 2 purple shields from the unit tree. You can also unlock stuff like fortebraccio from season 4. You can still use some blue units- season 6 upgraded halberts that Evo was using in the video. They are fairly easy to unlock and are quite good. Their charge does insane damage even to tier 4 and tier 5 units( if you don't charge directly at a tier 4 or tier 5 shield wall). In blue era nothing can withstand their direct charge. I suggest getting those good blue units( which are good even later in the game) and working with them and also working on your season challenges. The unit lock is not pleasant for me eitheir but I use the time for the challenges.
Evo: The Sons of Fenrir absolutly destroy at this tier Me: Halberdiers absolutly destroy Sons of Fenrir at this tier My first battle of the season was on Augolia and my Halberdier unit had killed 66 SoF, absolute murder fest because people thought the SoF were invincible and dove head first into my unit, trying to overwhelm them.
6:30 Eh, I would disagree since the one dude touched it and the team reacted fairly fast. A lot of players seem to forget the point exist and focus on killing archers, hence why people often linger around their units. Now, when there's nearly no one alive? Rush right in, screw those archers.

It’s sad how many people sleep on the jangjus. Solid unit imo, and for tier 3 restrictions they’re great. With a slight flank you’ll get 40-50 kills on a death ball before having to resupply, which is their only downfall
Actually most units I use are purple. Even when gold units are available I take like 2 purple units- stalwarts and fortebraccio + golden cav. Some housemates take iron reapers or shenji's and 2 purples. The point is purple units are the most fun and balanced( not broken tier strong like some tier 5 but definetely good and if the enemy fucks up you can kill a tier 5 with a unit of fortebraccio or stalwarts. The blue era units are mostly shit with the exception of Jannissaries when you can set them up, upgraded season 6 halberts( and regular halberts after the buffs they got) and prefecture gurds( blue swords). Those 3 units are usable and functional when you have spare leadership and can fight tier 4 units and even some tier 5 if you get a good flank with the upgraded halbert charge. To some extent the Outriders and the new spear unit are also good but everything else is crap. You have no good charge cav( Outriders are blue cav but they are not charge), you have no good shields- prefecture shields are crap and their veteracny is so abysmal you don't end up completing a full tree. They also burn and get destroyed by things like pike charges and don't have any cc immmunity. Their damage is also quite low comapred to stuff such a s stalwarts. So blue era contains some good units but mostly crap and you are forced to take it. Some of the archers are also decent but I don't like archers.
Been inactive since merge just not sure this game gonna survive the population is just dripping to much play against same eu player every day devs just don't care
2 days in to a new season where this is meant to be the peak player attendance and just played a siege. Bot match, only 5 humans on each side,6 of which were chinese. This game is dying.
TL:DR - start of season has only blue tier which is boring for long time players. Unit variety starts from 4 star units . Looking at the steamcharts , there's not much difference. Game does not have much decrement neither increment in players. I think it's the same players that's been playing this game for years (Like me) while a few 1-2 hundred might be leaving / returning/new players. So, this game ain't dying so soon. And bots can be seen more at start coz many players are high level veterans and it's boring to play more than 2-3 matches with same blue tier units (not much variety there) . I play only 1-2 matches just for login reward daily until 4star unlocks.

after each season there is a period in which u only can use up too tier3 units, so for now every one feels like u :D
