“King Of Capulet" is about meeting somebody who is so dope they’re almost alien or KING like. Somebody with an aura so stunning you kind of wonder “who are you and where do you come from.” I’ve only experienced it once or twice, this “I absolutely 100% need to know you” feeling. Jake & I were always super drawn to Romeo and Juliet; the beautiful and grandiose but painfully tragic qualities of that story are so perfectly captured through Shakespeare’s writing. When I wrote “King Of Capulet”, I was like “who is the king of this entire story?” I’d imagine his aura would be the EXACT same as the person the song is actually about.

First time I watched this it was only a couple weeks/months or so since it was released, and at that point it had about 100k views. I liked the video after watching it thinking ”this video is gonna grow big”. So why is it only at 300k+ views, now, a year later? This is one of my favourite songs and has been since I first heard it. This deserves much more recognition!
