He’s amazing. It’s the first time I’ve seen a Superman/Clark who are different, but neither feel like a disguise, just different aspects of his personality.
💯 I started watching the show when the first season came out but I wasn’t that excited about it (mostly because of Jordan, aka Frodo Baggins) and I never really watched it again until the final season was announced. I binged the series leading up to the finale and, while some of the side characters/plots didn’t always hold my attention, I fell in love with this version of Superman and Lois. I’ve always known that Tyler nailed the part going back to his debut with the character on Supergirl but his performance and the way that both Superman/Clark is written has been unparalleled in live action form. The writers actually understand the character and TH has delivered in every single episode of Superman and Lois. Hands down, my all time favorite live action version of the character. Thanks for the cool video!
Thanks for watching!!!!! I absolute love his and the shows take on Superman. I hate seeing it go, but what a way to finish the Superman story. Beautiful finale. I did a review on the final episode. Check it out!!
Easily the best onscreen Superman. I slept on this show because I figured it would be cheesy CW stuff, but it was great. I started watching it after the James Gunn Superman trailer came out and pretty much binged it. I spent the first day of 2025 watching this show and nothing else. Good start to the new year. As a 41 year old dad and Superman fan, I loved the show and Tyler’s portrayal of Superman and Clarke just trying to be a dad and a hero. I’ll miss the show.
What a great start to 2025!!! I’m a 42 year old father, so I get what you are saying. Watching Clark deal with being Superman, as well as a father and husband was something I didn’t realize I needed to see. Great show, I’ll miss it too. Hopefully Gunn’s Superman will continue the legacy in an amazing way!
I would love to see Tyler in a Superman feature film. I agree that he was amazing in the role, however I thought the show was slow at times dealing with the kids and side relationship drama.
I agree!! I grew up watching the CW/WB so I’m used to the teen drama of things. Smallville was full of all of that drama. I would love to see Tyler in a movie too, but I think Monday will unfortunately be the last time 😩
such a great video my guy! glad someone is showing love to tyler hoechlin's superman! and man, you're so well spoken, i watched the entire video, and i was engaged the entire time by your passion and love for superman. i also liked how you mentioned all of the great things about each (live action) iteration of superman. you didn't dispose them like they're nothing but you emphasized their strengths, while highlighting why tyler's the best of all of them! great job there! i'd say, tyler hoechlin is a celebration of each iteration of superman he has came before, and its admirable! its just a bummer that this show doesn't get more love! great video my guy, and wish you the best of success :)
Wow, bro!!! Thanks for watching and for all the love! We’re in a great time as Superman fans, and Tyler’s portrayal was a true gift. The entire show was. I wish more people knew about it, because Superman fans and casual fans would love it. Hopefully it will gain more viewers as it streams 🙏🏾
@justgeekingout-1 No matter what, it will be worth seeing. I'm interested to see what James Gunn's vision will be. As a writer of superhero shenanigans, I'm all in.
You have beautifully worded everything I feel about every single actor's interpretation of Supes into such perfect words that I am left absolutely speechless! Rn at the moment, my favourite superman media interpretations are of Tyler and My Adventures with Superman. The best! The amount of people I've introduced superman and Lois to is insane, to the point I felt like an unofficial advert campaign for the show around my peers😂 Thank you so much for this lovely video!
Thank you for your kind words. WOW! I could tell you have a deep love for Superman. I love My Adventures of Superman, and that’s right up there with my favorite interpretations of the character. Keep telling people about Superman and Lois, not enough people know about it. Thank you for watching the video, and your awesome comment.
Lemme help you out: Tyler is the best on screen Superman NOT cause he's the best actor (He's very good) but because of all on screen Supermen, HE'S BEEN GIVEN THE BEST WRITING.. Cavill, Reeve both would have excelled in this show. I love them all, but this show has been the best Superman stories hands down.
All facts!!!! I’m not comparing their talent as actors, but the material given to them. This show has the best Superman material. I think every actor who has been chosen to play Superman have an undeniable strength and warmth. So you’re right, I think any of them would’ve shined in this show.
SuperMan🦸 and Lois👜 sad😢😭😭😢😭I'm Not ready for it to go” i love💗 it the family focus. i'm gonna miss it. soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Muchhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. it want by so fast.
I stopped watching "Superman and Lois" for the same reason I stopped watching CW's "Supergirl;" however, it's quite the opposite for Superman the actor: when he appeared at first, I thought he was decent but underwhelming then he appeared in his own show and I was blown away with how good he really was. I've been having a Superman problem outside of the actors; Superman's morality is on dire life support. Speaking outside of S&L, as I haven't watched in a while, I keep seeing very non-Superman actions placed in the boy scout. JLU, as much as I love the DCAU, needs to never place Superman against Captain Marvel type characters ever again because DC doesn't know how to incorporate the two; Young Justice had him react poorly to a younger clone of him far passed the understandable limit even to the point that other characters were looking down on him; DCAMU had him attack a human he believed was the leader of flying demonic creatures because he was dressed as a bat; and the DCEU fully assassinated him by making him full on psycho - after he gets his threads, in his own movie, he doesn't save ONE person. And then he helped make a hellscape of his two towns without aiding anyone at the end of the movie! Even The Flash, terrible film aside, had Supergirl attempt to save multiple people. I'm quite worried for DCU Superman as it really feels like morality is taking a back seat to mindless, exciting action. Superman Returns, not a great film, has my favorite scenes: when Superman saves people. FYI you're missing a few actors. Kirk Alyn ('48 & '50) was marketed as being the 'real' Superman and really he's good too but he shines a tad brighter as the big man rather than Clark Kent. George Reeves ('50s) shines best, to me, as Clark Kent in a different way than Chris Reeve. Chris played the transformation from weak or nerdy Clark to the larger than life Supes, but George's Clark is more daring. He hides in plain sight with the full obvious note that he's supposed to be a normal person and not secretly the man of tomorrow. If you've ever seen the '40s Max Fleischer Cartoon, then George is pretty spot on that.
Wow, thank you for your comment. I love the way you broke that all down, and I agree. Superman’s morality has been questionable for a while. Even in Superman 2 he killed de-powered Kryptonians when he could’ve just put them in prison. As for Superman and Lois, I urge you to keep watching. Clark isn’t perfect, but he’s every bit of the Superman we’ve been waiting for. Season 4 is amazing!!! And the story moves at a great pace. I have hope for Gunn’s Superman. I think he understands the heart of the character. You’re right. I did leave out Kirk Allen and George Reeve. They are great, but I still think Hoechlin is the best live action interpretation.
I absolutely agree that Tyler embodies the most integrated Clark Kent/Superman portrayal.
He’s amazing. It’s the first time I’ve seen a Superman/Clark who are different, but neither feel like a disguise, just different aspects of his personality.

Me by 0:20 seconds: "you son of a bitch, I'm in,"
😂😂😂😂😂 Thanks, bro!!!
I totally agree. I have aleays been a fan of Christopher Reeves Superman, but I must admit Tyler is the definitive Superman.
It’s pretty perfect. I’m sad the series is ending, but what an amazing ride.

Best Superman definitely right my guy
🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Not enough people are watching this series. They are missing out big time!!!
I would love to see Tyler in a Superman feature film. I agree that he was amazing in the role, however I thought the show was slow at times dealing with the kids and side relationship drama.

I love Superman and Lois
It’s so good!!
It’s hard to compare, but he’s definitely amazing in this role!!!
Definitely!!!
Agreed. I'm gonna be sad to see him go. Great video!!
Me too, and thanks a lot!!! I hope Gunn delivers in his Superman movie.
@justgeekingout-1 No matter what, it will be worth seeing. I'm interested to see what James Gunn's vision will be. As a writer of superhero shenanigans, I'm all in.
I have complete faith in James Gunn. He understands Superman. You write superhero content?????
I completely agree!! Best Superman content ever
🔥🔥🔥🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

No one touches Christopher Reeve
GOAT

@weresmurf5731 You’re right. He’s fantastic, and has the perfect charm and warmth to play this role. I wish we were getting more.

Henry Cavill and Tyler Hoechlin are my two favorite supermans
They are great, and also very different. What do you like about each of them?
@justgeekingout-1 Tyler Hoechlin's Superman protects his family and the people in Metropolis,Henry Cavill's Superman gives people hope.
Tyler Hoechlin is better that Reeve by any metric
That’s tough. Both are iconic for different reasons
I don't agree but i can see why you think that i cant say the same for people who favor henry cavill
I appreciate your comment. Who would you say is the definitive Superman?
Henry Cavill, will always be my Superman
I can’t hate on that!!!
Tom Welling was the best for my opinion but Tyler is pretty good too
I love Tom!! I’m a big Smallville fan, so you’ll get no argument from me.
😂😂😂 nope, Either Christopher Reeves or Henry Cavil.
Do you watch Superman and Lois? His depiction is pretty perfect.
Henry Cavill CAN'T ACT.
