Bravo Uncle Jay you are my mentor! Keep sharing you podcast! I'm age 73 and back in college enrolled in Solar Technology and Drone Pilot science so that I can increase my total retirement income to $5,000 to $10,000 USD per month! DOMINICAN REPUBLIC HERE I COME! Thank uncle Jay! AMEN-ASE!
Preach brother!!!!! Love the bible reference -- i'm wearing a shirt right now that says 'abundance', so to hear over 70x in the bible is really cool!! Great video. And thanks as always for the shout out.
Jay, you’re spot on once again! You know some of us have been brainwashed to believe that our blessings are in heaven and that’s not true. God wants us to be bless and have an abundance. But, we must understand that life and death is in the power of the tongue. If you operate or have a poor man’s mindset, you will have nothing. Dust yourself off, and go get it. There’s a sea of money out there to be made don’t rest until you get what God has promised! 🙏🏽✌🏽
Great video!!! I loved what you said throughout the video. I have family in the RD. I'm visiting next year again. I currently live in California, life is tough out here. You and Jamie have inspired me to do whatever is necessary to live an abundant life. Look forward to meeting you someday.
I’m 63 years old and enjoy your channel. Keep living your life with your beautiful family and continue to thrive in the DR. Live your life and don’t worry about other’s opinions about your life. 👍🏾💯👍🏾
OMG! Jay this was your best video I believe!!!! My son in law is also Dominican and he inspired me to purchase in this beautiful country as he and my beautiful daughter purchased as well. I am excited to be ready to enjoy my life living in Punta Cana whether full or part time! You and your wife are blessed to share your content to the world! Again thank for for what you both do! !!!!!!!!!😊
“How can I afford it ?” Rich dad poor dad! Just read this book and it’s a must read for anyone who is looking to make a change in their life. Love that you added this in your video.
Here’s a polished version: Jay, I just wanted to say that I really appreciate your content. I hadn’t come across it until I saw you featured in one of Jamie’s videos. I know you often mention Jamie, and I’m sure you two are friends. However, I find your content quite different from his. If there’s one area where I think you truly stand out, it’s in how you deliver your message. Jamie’s style is more in-your-face, which I know isn’t for everyone. I even had a few friends check out his videos to make sure I wasn’t just being overly critical, and they felt similarly about his delivery. Your approach, on the other hand, really resonates with me. I’ve been binge-watching your videos for a while now, and I especially enjoyed the one on your favorite six restaurants and the Amazon guide. That was one of the most informative videos I’ve seen about moving to the DR. I decided about five years ago to make the move myself, but I’m doing it in a way that suits me. Like you, I’m carving my own path. My goal was to build a fully off-grid home, understanding the reality of power outages as a Dominican. I’ve set up my own water system solar system and installed a 30-kilowatt generator to ensure self-sufficiency, all with the goal of living comfortably on about $2,500 a month. Hopefully, we’ll cross paths in the DR one day. Stay blessed!
Thanks bro, I appreciate these kind words. And glad the content resonates with you. And yes, Jamie is a friend and that is the beauty in what we do in how our deliver styles although different is very complimentary to one another. Congratulations on making that decision to move to DR. Whenever you're in Santo Domingo definitely send me a message
Thank you for the wonderful video....the first time I visited the RD I fell in love with it ,....even though it has it's problems of poverty and other social ills....it is still far better than the current state of America in my opinion. The culture and sense of pride of being a Dominican and the patriotism of parading the RD flags all over the place captivated me. Of course, so did my beautiful, loving Dominican wife. I love RD as much as my wife. The abundant living for me personally is a peace of mind love of culture and affordability to live the life I always dreamed that would have not been a realization in America. I believe I, too, am doing the Lord's work investing my time work and resources into the beautiful RD and its lovely people. I also realized RD is the only country with a Bible on its flag, and I love it.
I’m living ok now and God. help me , but I don’t plan to go from good to worst or downgrade my lifestyle when I retire in the D.R. Thank you Jay for that wonderful message. I hope you continue making videos until the time I retire to help me stay inspired and motivated.
That porper mentality holds a lot of people back. Great content Jay. Keep inspiring hopefully many out there will start living their purpose and abundance 😂. And there will always be those sitting on the fence criticizing instead of getting in the game.
You guys are most definitely a inspiration! I’ve been to the DR 5 times, and plan to move to Santo Domingo. The culture, people and weather are unbeatable. Most definitely plan to live in abundance!💪🏿
The reasons people will try to give you a hard time is because you show that DR is not only about women. You and Jamie show that there is a family part to DR and it’s diamond.
@@JayAbroad I have a family and I watch a lot or DR content and you and your wife the one who make me want to move there, I see how you value your family goals and the time you spend together and that is something that inspires me.
Stay on purpose work create opportunity for self and get what you want out of life. When you have bkessings sometimes look back and help somebody else out. And that doesnt always have to be in the sum of money. Stay sharp mentally and continue to grow. Love these videos Jay. D.R. I'm coming in 25..
Excellent video, Jay! I hope it reaches the people who really need to see it. Poverty is a mindset that a lot of people never break away from. Just getting by is their normal, and they never entertain the thought of doing better. In reality, all it takes is a passport, $1,800 - $2,000 of steady income, and an emergency fund to change your quality of life. Sadly, some people get complacent, and resign themselves to struggling, complaining, and hating.
I love this one, bro. Everyone should be able to live the way they want without being judged. My wife and I live how we choose to live, not how others want us to live, but at the end of the day, it's about living within our means. I like that you gave the shoutout to your wife, too, because she is the original OG. lol 🙏
Yesssiirr. Completely agree. What works for one doesn't work for the other. It's about being the best version of ourselves. And that looks different for everyone.
Another grand slam, my friend; there's nothing wrong with counting your blessings by sharing your success and experiences. Don't let anyone make you feel guilty of living in abundance; it's a gift of God, and money is not the root of all evil; envy is. Keep it up!

Shout out to you. DR is not perfect but at least I have been able to make opportunities for myself that have allowed me to reach certain goals to better my life. I'm seeing way too many immigration supporters supporting the illegal trek to the US through Mexico and the illegal boat crossings in the Mediterranean to Europe with the audacity to demand those migrants get benefits and deportation protection just becuase they didn't have what it took to progress in their own Countries. DR also gets slammed for being a third world Country with dire poverty and hopelessness in terms of making a life here but when somebody such as myself who loves my Country and has done the necessary work to live well who is against illegal immigration I become a target of attack for those groups. This is insane. Those people really think they are the righteous ones smh.
Lol..I can afford that lobster leg but I don't want to spend for it. I am still living under means although I make good money and enjoy seeing my money continue to grow but I have always been an EL CHEAPO lol.. One thing that I won't compromise on is living in a nice clean environment.
It's one thing to have it and not want to spend it. I'm like that on certain things. But its another to not have it and act as if you don't want it only because you know can't afford it.
I moved to the DR at 23. I’m about to turn 32. I own a decent amount of real estate here and most people told me I was crazy
