Sacramento Delta

The southern end of the Sacramento Delta feels oddly cut off from the rest of the Bay Area. The many islands make traveling somewhat disjointed, giving the region a curious sense of mystery. It's a fabulous, easy escape from San Francisco.

Did this ride once from the Pittsburg Bay Point BART to downtown Sacramento for NAHBS. There was an absolutely devastating crosswind for the entire ride on 160.

Yeah, I'm sure the winds can be bad. Was good when we rode!
