- One of those unexpected dry fly hatches made for a fun day of dry fly fishing. Caught a couple of 16" browns using a Griffith's Gnat to imitate the small winter stone fly hatch that was happening.
Today I was using the Tenkara USA Iwana with a tapered leader and about a foot and a half of tippet. I hope you enjoy the video. Tight lines from Utah Tenkara!!!
Cool video bro! Finding that car was a cool bonus! Thabks for sharing!
Between the Sage and the Shadows lurk the Sixteen inch Browns. Great job! I’m glad the Algorithm turned me on to your channel. Keep’em coming.
That is the awesome part of fly fishing, right? You never know what is going to happen. Times I think I am going to do great and nothing. Times I decide at the last second to go fish and this happens. It never gets old.
Awesome vid as usual. Thanks for posting!
Thanks for watching. Much appreciated.
That was cool to get some dry fly action this time of year. Nice brownies - that first one was a handful for tenkara I would think. Happy fishing!
Definitely did not expect it. It made it more exciting as I was using the smaller Tenkara USA Iwana rather than the Ito. Thanks for watching.
it's like every time you cast you catch a fish.
Bob Outdoors!!! Long time, no see. You definitely got it right. I do catch a fish with every cast!!! I hear you are retiring at the end of the year so congrats!!! I expect to see lots of bass fishin' videos on your channel next year!!!
