Hi 👋 im viewing from New Zealand. The Bay City Rollers toured here in NZ in the mid 1970s. My sister went to the concert in Auckland city. I was in my teens in the 1970s and liked them too , although not enough to want to go and see them. Anyway i did like this song Summerlove Sensation from 1974. Gosh that's fifty years ago now. I was 14 in 1974. I liked their song Saturday Night which topped the Billboard American pop charts in early 1976.
Though Les could never ever be replaced, it must be reckoned that the lead in place is a really superb singer ! It certainly brings back the good old days, especially with the presence of Woody !
Good on you Stu!! Great to see you rocking again. Good sound, good visuals. Great mixed crowd; not just the oldies, who are dying to get some 'live' Rollers music and remember their youth. I'm not sure where Rockore is but I wish I had been there. Regards to everyone, Jo.
They were my idols when i was a kid i was so in love with woody❤ hello woody❤ i think woody is the only original band member there the rest have passed i think
Sadly taken too early. 😢 I was fortunate to see Les and his version on the Bay City Rollers back in 2016. What a fantastic night was had by all. Only Les Mckeown can sing this songs authentically.
@@maxfrudd7666 OK. Three are dead, from the 'classic' era (i.e the popular era that most remember) and one might as well be dead since he'll never dare or be allowed to get on stage again. So, basically, it's just Eric and Woody. So most are dead. The End.
They really just need to stop this nonsense.. bay city rollers were finished by 80-81 and honestly the best album they ever made was 79’s Elevator with original line-up with the exception of Duncan Faure on vocals Great record!!!
I saw Les and his version of the " Bay City Rollers" back in 2016 and they were absolutely fantastic.. Like being transported back to the 1970s. Without Les there isn't anymore Bay City Rollers. Sadly he passed away far too early back in April 2021 😢 Have a look at my videos and I'm sure you'll agree just how good they were with Les fronting the band.
How dare you? I recently saw the Bay City Rollers inc. Woody play in my home town which is a small venue to what they are normally used to and I got a cuddle from Woody. He is a genuinely nice guy who is keeping the music and memories alive. I have waited 50 years for that. I was too young to attend their concerts at the height of their fame and Woody made my dream come true with the Rollers performing in my home town. It was a great night. They belted out the songs for over an hour and a half and sounded great. If you no longer like the Rollers or this line up, that's your prerogative but how dare you begrudge the rest of us? Personally, I hope they come back. I would love to see them again.

I'm sorry. But the lead singer isn't a patch on Les.
Thanks for honoring my beloved BCR!!
