No matter the situation XX always tries risky moves that are beautiful and magnificent to watch giving us a show. It seems that for XX it is not only about a competition but also a public-oriented performance that is different from other sports or other table tennis matches. He certainly wants to win but he wants to win in the most stylish and flashy way possible and to do that I think it requires more skill than movements with goal just to win.

If rubber is tacky, the spin will pop the ball up but if it isn't, the driving force will bang it off the table but Hari can negate those properties. His equipment? Anybody? XuXin worked so hard come back to win, well respected. He must have burned more than twice Hari's energy.
Inner carbon blade, longer dwelltime, with good touch, very effective with active blocking. If Hari is using an outer carbon blade it would be difficult or nearly impossible. Another reason he has never won xx is actually the spin, he is having more difficulty with spinnier ball than fast ball. Srategy used by SunWen with bh to bh exchange, Hari had the upperhand on speed but Sun was spinning it more. If this was the celluloid era, Hari would not stand a chance.

I have the feeling (without an incredible knowledge of table tennis) that Harimoto, of the rivals Ive seen Xu Xin face (including Ma Long) is the one that has exploited Xu Xin weakneses the best. Could have gone either way but i feel like Xu Xin's experience played an important role in the deciding final points. One of the best displays of smart strategy that Ive seen, by Harimoto. His constant screaming on the other hand, makes it hard for me to like him.
