Cool Beans! I bumped into you guys at the Shell Station in Seligman, AZ on my new to me white 2022 BMW 1250 RT Bagger on Jun 27th, 2024. I knew I recognized that Red Road Glide with the gold on it. As well as a very sweet lady club member giving me a hug and wishing me well on my trip home back to Los Angeles on my new bike. Upstanding group of riders that day, windy as the dickens, huge headwinds, great people! Nice meeting you all. Snapped a bunch of pics of you that ripping windy cloudy afternoon. Be careful lane splitting around Tesla's in CA... some of the owners aren't the most cooperative when lane splitting.
@@FireIceChronicles awe you should ride thru the grapevine going from LA up to Northern California on the 5 freeway . Beautiful mountains up thru sylmar , Valencia .
I just stumbled onto this video and loved it! We live in San Diego and I lane split/filter all the time when there’s room and only when traffic has slowed way down. The cars do not have to move for you but they also can’t impede you. When a vehicle purposely gives you extra room I give a thank you wave or a head nod. It’s just courtesy and it doesn’t make us riders look like inconsiderate jerks. Anyways I’m subscribed and look forward to watching more videos! Safe travels!

So I moved to California in 2013 and only started riding to not sit in traffic. At the time it wasn’t legal but it wasn’t illegal either. And I was spooked, at first. Then I got used to it, and it became law.
