    Here we are, the final in the 'bracketing mode' series. In this video, we're going to look at Motion Bracketing on the K-3 Mark III. It has some limitations, but in the correct use case, I can see the value in using this mode.

    The two scenarios I can think of for this setting is, panning while tracking a moving object or water falls/moving water. If you haven't developed a go-to shutter setting for motion, this would allow you to capture multiple blur levels at one time. Doing some tests with moving water, starting at 1/20 sec., +1.0 and +1.5 provided subtle shutter speed steps.

    Probably not a feature I will use a lot, but good to be made aware that it's there when the occasion should arise.

    Hi Kobie, can I ask a question, I have the K3 and I am thinking buying a lightly used K3 mark 3 from a Japanese eBay store ( they are very trustworthy) the question is about updating the firmware to the newest version, do I need to update every one of the updates or does the newest firmware update have all the old updates too ?
    Love your channel 👍🏻
    Oh, have been thinking about mirror less for some time now, but I just don’t like a tv screen for a viewfinder and as I have quite a few primes and the wonderful 50-135* lens I feel that I would have to invest a lot of money in a new system that I probably would use less because of the electronic viewfinder.
    Only thing wrong with my K3 is the auto focus which is truly lacking for moving subjects, one other thing I wish the K3 iii had would be the viewfinder sticking a bit out the back so one’s nose would not hit the screen all the time, I wear glasses, Nikon have that on some of their cameras.
    Keep up the great work 👍🏻

      Thank you for the kind words! The newest firmware has all the previous firmware changes as well, so you only have to update the latest one.

    Hi Kobie, how do you feel about the wear and tear of K3III? You've had it for some time and I have a few questions.
    Are the buttons and wheels still good? has dust come in or is the battery weakening door? Or something similar?
    And how is it compared to the original K3?
    Love your videos keep it up!

      Thank you! The buttons and dials are all still as good as new. Batteries are still very good, I still get hundreds of images per battery (300+). I do find it attracts dust easier than the K-3/II but it's easy to clean. The only issue I have which many others have had as well, is the paint is very thin so wears off easily. But, I don't really care as long as the mechanical parts are good.
      I still haven't used my K-3 as a primary camera since getting the K-3 III. Haven't really thought about using it either. The Mark III is THAT good.

      @@gryphongryph Yes, they use the same battery. K-3/II, K-3 III and K-1/II.

    Hi Kobie would this work to slow water fall shots when you forget your filters?

    • @KobieMC
      @KobieMC  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It could if you were in low light since you have no control over the shutter speed it chooses.
