Let's give it to Armada for always being such a GREAT competitor. Last time Pulp beat him he smiled even before Pulp could. A genuine, competitor's smile. Not to throw Zer0 in the fire, but one thing he could never do as well as Armada was appreciate a win even when he was on the losing side. Armada might hate losing as much as the next guy, but dang can that guy embrace it with poise. GG Pluip, glad to see you take it all this tournament.

Armada got washed in Winners at Genesis by Plup and washed in Grands at Valhalla by Leffen, sure, but every other set with those two is incredibly close or Armada-favored. Plup and Leffen both beat Mango 3-2 at Genesis, but that's not what I'd call an "ass-kicking" in the slightest. m2k is m2k. He can be pretty inconsistent, so he's an anomaly.

Plup's sheik is so weird, there isn't any needle playing or proxy and it's all in your face like a captain falcon. The strangest thing about the style change is that he's always played proxy such as samus' missile and charge shot, or fox laser pinch. Other projectiles include those young link and and luigi neutral-b...i dont think anyone expected this style after playing with pokes and defensive down-smash so much from mew2king. It's refreshing none-the-less.
It's because he did know he was gonna win. This is just another file added to the mountain of evidence that proves that Melee is scripted. How else could we get these storyline endings to matches? How else could it be, that right when the top 2 look nigh unbeatable, a challenger steps up and wins a super major through the toughest bracket to date? The evidence is there.
