No. I could not dispose of my husband’s clothing after he died. I tried to do it but I would end up crying. I felt that by getting rid of his clothing, I was disrespecting him. Now, after six years of his death, I finally felt comfortable donating his fine clothing which was mostly, suits, trousers, jackets and dress shirts. His clothing will benefit somebody who cannot afford office attire.

When my mother passed away my dad kept all of her clothes. Also most other things she had loved and used. He lived on a different continent from me, so when I visited 2 years later, even her knitting basket was there, her chair with her favorite blanket, her coats and jackets at the wardrobe by the door, and just about anything she had owned. I could feel my mother's present and spirit so strong when I walked into the house. I thought she would walk into the room any minute. I could hear her footsteps, her voice, it was as if she was still there. I never experienced anything like that before.

If you pay close attention to what he is saying, he is not really saying that doing this (wearing dead ppl clothes) is bad for YOU, what he is saying is that it's not good for the deceased as it leaves them confused as to where to go. It's like they still have some chains anchoring them in into this reality and they are still somewhat bound from pursuing their next destination. Hope this helps.

NONSENSE.....The Bible clearly states that when you die,you know NOTHING.
You stay dead in your grave or wherever your ash is kept until the return of Jesus.
Those who died in Christ will rise to need Him in the air at the sound of the 1st trumpet.
Those you did not hear at the 1st will rise at the 2nd to meet damnation.
The dead knows nothing. Any sign of the dead ones is Satan doing the impersonation.

Since his brothers are able to use his clothes, that is fine. By the time they wear out those clothes, it won’t be as difficult to discard them. I lost my only daughter in 1998. I truly feel for the sorrow and helplessness of grief. I can only tell you that with passing of time, the open wounds on your hearts will begin to close and heal. It won’t be the same as before, but you will find a new sense of peace and acceptance. May God bless you❤❤❤

There are 30 black bags of my husbands Mother in the attic which he lied to me accidently one day years later saying they were dropped off to the Charity shop.
After the grieving period (two months initially) I carefully approached his eldest Sister asking what to do with her Mums personal items, she didnt even come around neither replied.

    My points
*So many times we wear friends cloths
    *Weekly we cut our Niles.
*We touch so many people while travelling.
    *Physical relationship.. also there.
*Birth to death we use 1000's of clothes.
    * We travell and stay so many places.
Ultimately we spread everywhere our DNA...
My question is how much % it's important how much % it's effects somedays life...
Now a days long relationship with social media we have emotionally attachments with so many people.. is that will not effect... bsc hatma is not our body. Is we only physically bonding only effect somebody.. we are not see.. everyone say after death even alive also. Emotional attachment effects so much... % everyone feel that.. I what to know the difference and % of effects.

If we can’t keep things belonging to person who passed on then why only the clothes? What about the bed sheets, the chairs on which he/she sits, the plates & spoons he/she uses? Want to burn everything?

    • @MahabharatTV
      @MahabharatTV  ปีที่แล้ว

It's a good question, it's not just about cloths, if we see, cloths are something which is close to the person and have perspiration and possible other body fluids... Now you may say, it's washed, but still the memory of the person is there in it.
Another aspect is, most people have their favorite clothes, which is close to their heart... These are memories or otherwise called as Vasanas...
We should let them move on in their life progression, not drag them... If we love them, we should let them progress:)

In the old gypsy tradition, they used to burn the caravan and all the possessions of a dead person. In Egyptian tombs, wives, girlfriends and even cats were buried along with a person who died. It makes sense.
I would like to ask Sadhguru and anyone else here, if someone has dementia, if they can possibly leave their spirit in the house and possessions where they lived, even if they are still alive and have been put into a home. I feel I have experienced something similar, with a spirit living in their home although the body is still alive.
