She has an OLED monitor. If you've never seen one in real life, it's kinda like a phone screen but better. If anything, it makes the colors brighter, therefore simsie would see the colors brighter and more vibrant than how you would see in a normal computer screen, but certainly not to the extent that she did lol

Over half of the black swatches don't match (different tints/values) or they have white/another color mixed in. A challenge that might be painful for some lol.

Black could be considered all colour as it absorbs all frequencies of visible light, but personally I look at it as the absence of colour since the way we see colour is by an object reflecting light; from this perspective, white would be all colours. Some things are so funnily different all around the world, like Kayla thinking that it might not be very good if the sims are entering into a hallway whereas I (living in Germany) have never been to a house or apartment where there wasn’t a hallway first thing

Yeah, I agree. But, I also like to see the way she wanted to go with it. I think she should have also tried the new console table that matches her favorite dresser/wardrobe.
we love kayla breaking out of her comfort zone with colours! this is such a fun colour scheme too, the white and grey neutrals really pull it together. and thank you kayla for raising awareness with your platform, any step forward is a step in the right direction

the fact that the random color scheme gave kayla (of all people) mint, rose and yellow in the same order as the first 3 generations of the not so berry challenge, was honestly amazing 😂

You can remove the plaque! If you go into live mode you can shift click and destroy object debug. So far I have had no issues with gameplay (no mice/electrical stuff has happened since I removed those from apartments). I've not had issues with reloading the lot either. Hope this helps!

I think it’d be pretty challenging to make it cohesive and I think it would be a really fun watch! Anyways keep up the amazing production and thanks for sharing your creativity with the world!

A couple hours ago, I saw a clip on Instagram of a little girl calling for her mommy, who I presume is dead which in that case is just so heartbreaking💔💔. simsie, the charity work you do online has always been inspiring, but your work for Palestine truly brings a tear to my eye. the genocide unfolding is being ignored by so much of the sims community and the online community in general so it already means SO much that you personally donate, but the fact that the goal is to rally together with other sims creators this time is HUGE i am so incredibly proud to be a viewer. it is especially brave with the current wave of mccarthyist-adjacent behavior towards so many activists. just know it doesn't go unnoticed. this might be a goofy sims video but context is so irrelevant. your activism will be remembered, at least by me
Colors can look wildly different on different monitors, different screen brightnesses and contrast settings, and different lightings. For example, the red in the palette looked like an orangey brick red on my screen!
Yeahh as the person above me said, colours often don't match from screen to screen. On my phone screen the red looks like a reddish wine colour and the "putrid yellow" as Kayla called it looks like a simple muted light yellow 😅. Unfortunately these challenges are not easy, she also uses more screens if I'm not mistaken and the colours can easily vary from different monitors as well... She still ended up making something she would've never made anyways so I think it was an accomplishment ✨

I think her screen has a blue tint. One time she thought a dusty rose was too close to a magenta room she did. And it seems to be consistently happening
the front door is actually never that big of a deal to me because i simply copy it and use it throughout the whole apartment and that makes it feel intentional lol

I get that we all see colours differently because of screens and I'm not saying a thing about how they look to me, but Kayla, I think it's time to recalibrate your monitor because the shades you said matched perfectly do not in fact match perfectly while next to each other and the other way too 😂 If they did to you, there's something really messed up with the settings.
Idea: build a house in The Sims 3 based on a Coolors palette, where you have to recolour everything in Create-a-Style using only the give hexidecimal colour codes it gives you.
And that's when we will be sure how she really has her monitor set up 😂 Because I'm pretty sure her contrast settings are way off and it's overall too blue.
This was such a good idea - like sure the colour drenching houses and random room colour challenge is fun but this adds a whole other level of difficulty. Amazing build, as always!!
Suggestion: Each room is a different colour scheme, but you're allowed to lock one colour from the previous room you built, to make everything tie in together
Every Room is a Different Random Pokemon but you have to use an Actual Generator no pre-made wheels with only like Pikachu, Charmander, Venadur, Blastoise, Pikachu, Mewtwo, & Pikachu There are Other Pokemon Out there Or you could just do a Full Build Completely based on 1 Random Pokemon

OMG! I love this. I tried all white in the Sims 3, it didn't work perfectly because of item textures. I might try this one though.
