I think Fenix hav nailed it with their lights and went premium with materials and it has payef of for them . Fenix was the first company to breake the Chinese stigma . Yes I have seen the updated one but don't what a different type of battery.....my torches work with 18650 like to keep everything working with one battery source.....
This lantern, at first looks overpriced at £80, but after you use it, you realise that it is very fairly priced. Supermarket lanterns with similar prices doesn't have half of the capabilities of this Fenix Lantern.
