      We doneeee with the 90s!!!!
Come on. Stop it. Let’s not sit here and act like players such as Jayson Taytum and Anthony edwards would not absolutely cook if they played in this era.

I was there that night. Saw it with my own eyes, and wouldn't believe it otherwise. Gerald Glass led the scoring duel much of the game, but Chris Jackson bombed a bunch of threes toward the end of regulation. He was unstoppable too. Both were. Don't figure I'll ever see another game like it in my lifetime.

Glass had 30 pts at the half, Jackson had 19...... Jackson lit it up in the second half!! AS A FRESHMAN.... his crossover was scary quick right into his quick release...loved watching him.

World Class Glass! It amazes me that a kid that young played like a 10 year NBA vet. Jackson was spectacular, but Glass was so efficient and always under control. Also amazing that a kid that young could be such a versatile scorer with a terrific mid-range game. Turn arounds, fade aways, post ups, hook shots, up and unders, pull up jumpers, floaters; he was unstoppable. He was also deceptive because he moved so smoothly and care free that he would lull the defender to sleep, explode and dunk!

gbinct I had to check Rouf in the NBA Summer League in 2002 and he is a killer! He told me, "I am not going to cross the free throw line when I shoot. He told me, basically, he was going to shoot all jumpers on me! He didn't lie as he NEVER crossed the free throw line. Hell, he barely crossed the NBA three point line.........I was a great collegiate defender and there was NOTHING I could do. NOTHING BUT RESPECT FOR THIS MAN! #MAR

Glass had that play style, where he would do the extra work to get shots as close to the hoop as possible. If he could turn an 18 foot shot into a 13 foot shot, he'd make the move to get in closer. The result of learning to play the game without a 3 point line. Closer shots were better shots. I wish more players would watch this and try that kind of play

My dad met C.J. in cortana mall in B.R. and with Vernell Singleton in the late 80s and said the kid was a very humble down to earth class act. Hats off to the kid ,, got a bum deal in the NBA with the National Anthem thing,,he shouldve observered it and didnt ,, thats what he was run out of the NBA for...
