I love the animation style of the earlier season 1 episodes! Their facial expressions are more exaggerated and "cartoony" compared to the later episodes. For an example, just look at how big and expressive their eyes get in parts of this scene. I wish the whole series was animated in this style. It fits so well!
I agree so much!! The rest of the series emphasizes “staying on model”, which is a good thing in many ways but it limits the ability for the characters to look expressive! This old style seems hand-drawn so it’s more dynamic.. but you’re right, the whole series would have looked so good in the old style 😭

I think this wpuldve fit more to be the first episode, it sorta introduces the plot in most episodes (ex: simple situation, somehow creates chaos, then gets resolved) and it also introduces how benson would get mad, introduces rigby being less responsible while mordicai being a little more responsible, Even though benson knows what to do first, it kinda introduces skips “know it all” character by him knowing RPS is an evil game, and uhh for pops…. All i gotta say is pops.
