I don't understand how ANYONE could hear how ABSOLUTELY HARD this OST slaps and still think "Eh, Trigger wasn't really trying with this one. It's not worth your time."
You can tell that effort was in this anime (even with the png parts). I assume that most people who watched it only watched kill la kill and expect it to be like that quality. I personally love the art style of ninja slayer. It was supposed to be a parody of how weebs see anime, and I think it worked perfectly. Hoping they do something a little special on its 9th or 10th anniversary since it's coming up.
It would be a risk considering the show didn't garner enough attention, but I feel like it ended fine, the problem is some plot points were unresolved like Amnesia-san.
Apparently this Theme song is composed by Daisuke Ishiwatari AND Hiroyuki sawano????? First of all WHATTT they both worked on a song together this is legendary!! And second of all this absolutely slaps.
