Last show was at the Trocadero in Philly supporting World Inferno and Culture Shock. Was supposed to play Allentown the following weekend. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. He was the best songwriter I ever knew and a really great friend, it was a privilege to have known him.
Here it is again, that time of year when Erik n Denise would make the trip to buffalo for the annual solo show... fuck time passes but the memories never fade.
There no sing along bands like mischief brew anymore. I will NEVER forget when I saw days and daze and je-c played this... I freaked out. Almost none knew the song
@@tpteee tell them to shut up, like bo Burnham did at his shows. But he wouldn't do that, cause Erik loved the crowd singing along. It's part of the reason anyone plays live. But Telling people not to sing along at a folk/crust punk show shows you have no idea wtf the genre is about.
Miss ya, man. You helped keep some light on these dark highways
Imagine if everyone in the world had an ounce of this man's altruism and kindness. We might actually achieve anarchistic principals in our lifetimes.
Thats a true heart singing
Such a perfect moment that was captured here
i think this might be the last live performance of erik before he left. this performance is gold! rip erik.

Gonna miss him. I didn't know him personally, but I love his music and he will always be one of my greatest inspirations.
Think of this song nearly every day. Miss you Erik

Don't do it.
Sing in the shower. Not at concerts.
He seemed to enjoy it.
