When everything seems pointless and im wondering why still going on living, this songs puts a smile on my face and gives me a glimmer of hope. Thank you Erik
This is my 3rd time in Fostercare and my mama showed me this song at our visit yesterday. Life is shit right now but I've been able to overcome so much. I'm gonna turn shit around. Rest in power Erik you're still changing lives!
@@matejmcnally8770 I’m currently at the Mccrossans Boys Ranch I have a job now I’ve been sober for 2 months, I guess you can say I stayed true to turning things around. Thanks for checking in, all we can do is move forward and try our best to remember positivity = progress keep on rocking \m/
I have absolutely no idea how everyone is fucking talking while he's playing this. This song is the reason I started playing music. I'm nearly driven to tears watching it.
Being a musician myself, I've discovered that the music is a conduit. It may be beautiful, and meaningful, but the purpose it serves is often to bring people together. One song like this can bring people from all different backgrounds together. We can't be upset if they talk, because do we really want everyone to sit there and never talk to eachother? It's awesome that you love the music that much - I know I do. We don't mind being that catalyst, so don't worry ^^.
This song makes me cry. It hits so hard. When you are a child nobody is evil and by the time you get out of school every is out to get you. So fucking sad.
For the quality of this recording yes, but I’ve notice when Bradley from sublime played people would be talking too in the background and to me that’s when people are really digging it the most because it’s like background music but they’re listening. Thinking of it like that has helped me play better in public as well.
I had a friend that was trying to make it big in the music industry and I told him I would always talk while he is playing because he has to get used to it. I did it to help him practice and not get distracted. But this story is so sad I can't imagine talking through it.
Love watching one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard being performed while a punk in the background is disrespectful and talks to people the whole time. Big Aesthetics over morals vibes there.
This is one of the most beautiful songs ever written.
Indeed.

I just discovered this guy and his music speaks to my soul breaks my heart learning he's not around anymore
@@JohnAnderson-kt3bj He's still here as long as his art touches and helps people. Erik Peterson lives in the air.
i was just thinking that. i wonder if he thought it was all pointless. if he were around to see now maybe he'd of changed his mind.
The doggos made me happy. RIP Erik.

His Ibanez looks exactly like mine. He is a massive loss to go. He knew the history of what he was singing. The best tribute you can do is to follow.
Thank you for all the music Erik.
...cant believe he is gone...
0 dislikes after almost 6 years and thousands of views is pretty great. RIP
